The more I watch that video, the more I am convinced it was a dirty hit. Not the initial contact, but he never released him and with his head down drove Trent into the ground. There better be a fine. I think if it was Favre or Brady* they would have taken him off in handcuffs.

There are plenty of Tight Ends around that could be just as average as Royal.

I meant plays that are anything but routine. I hardly think that a 6 yard gain is something to put in my scrapbook.

I honestly don't know. But I will say that other than one long pass today to Evans, and the game winner against the Jets last year, I can't think of another positive play JP has made for us recently. And I can think of many negative ones. Hamdan couldn't be worse(I hope) With that answer, I sure hope that I'm still in good standing with you.

Just a question to all those who defending JP; if he has to start against SD, do you really see any differrent outcome than that of today. I really liked him but have no confidence in him anymore. He tries to do to much. He can't manage a drive/game, has no pocket presence, doesn't have faith in his receivers to make a play. It sounds like a joke but I'd rather try out Hamdan, because I know what I'm going to get from JP.

That is the exact play I was thinking of earlier, when murra pointed out that, apparently, JP was passing to Lynch all night. I guess just not on that play.

Yeah, you are a hero. I never said JP was to blame for the loss. Our D sucked and this is squarely on their shoulders. But JP wasn't great and if there is any questions about why Trent is starting, I think they were answered today.

Hamden doesn't take those sacks. JP only looks for the medium to long ball. When it's not there, his first move is to run backward. How about stepping up in the pocket(like Trent) and gaining 2 seconds and looking for the dump off to Marshawn, who was open many times.

Hamden, Hamden, Hamden. JP sucked today. He has got all the tools and he played like an idiot. Murra, we didn't play the Raven's D today, it was the Effin Cardinals. He was awful...any way you slice it.
