Gee...what a surprise...established posters taking things to the extreme and putting words into other's mouths. I never said he sucks. Players play and coaches coach. We won today because our players made some big plays at the end to pull away from an inferior team. DJ could have made it easier on our players had he done some things differently.

I actually like DJ. I also think he has some areas where he needs improvement. He NEVER throws the challenge flag...EVER. We had them pinned deep and there was a "reception" for a first down. Even Trent Green knew it was out of bounds and hurried his offense for another play. It would have been 3rd and long from deep in their own territory. Then...Their D was completely rearranged for todays game and fired up. We never tried a screen ONCE to capitalize on their over enthusiasm. Not Once. Again, I like DJ but he frustrates me sometimes with these little things.

Jauron left a lot to be desired in that game. With the pressure their D gave us, he never once threw a screen. He never once threw the red flag. He did all he could to lose that game. I'm just glad we were the better team and won.

I'm really not worried at all. Oakland is not that bad a team. Their owner/coach situation makes them worse than they actually are. And the Bills had their scare last week. Bill's by at least 17. I'll be surprised if it's only 27 - 10

In his own D-O-double G way, I think Dion actually does a pretty good job on NFLN. He always says these little comments, almost under his breath, that show the depth of his football knowledge. It always surprises me.

Favre is over-rated. Always has been. Always will be. The only superbowl he won, Desmond Howard ran two kickoffs back for TD's. They won by 14. But he smiles when he plays so people like him.

As bad as the running game seems, they somehow get the important yards when they need them. I also want to say that I love the way Turk is using Jackson. Each is making the other look like a genius. I can honestly say that I never once thought that the Bills were going to lose this game. It has been a long tome since I have felt that way.

Sometimes everyone does everything right on D and the other team still scores. If the Raiders run that play 100 times, 99 times someone makes the tackle or Poz picks it off. It was just an absolutely perfect pass and on a perfect playcall. We won the game and late tackle fired up the troops. Of all the things to be critical of Dante shouldn't be one of them.

Royal will have 6 catches, 5 for 1st downs and one for a TD.

Great post, and welcome Iowa. I agree with most of it. I hope I'm wrong, but even against a Bradyless Pats* I think a sweep against them is a little to much to ask for. Hopefully the play of each team in the weeks to come will change my mind.

If you're stayin on the lake, that is Dunkirk. Not much down by the lake. Might be worth it to go into downtown Fredonia(rt 20). It's a college town, all the places are good. Hook and Ladder is good for lunch. All the sub shop's(Mary's deli, Pizza Wings and Things) make great subs and wings. If you want to grog, then Coughlin's and the one right next to that, I think it's called rooney's will definately work for some ale and wingy. BJ's had some killer wings as well.
