  1. Seeing as he hasn't shown up to camp yet, I'm trying to imagine him as a Left Tackle.
  2. Say what you want... Willis was a tool. Lynch is a Major upgrade! EDIT: And that's sayin alot cuz WM is pretty good.
  3. This might be a stupid question, but are we sure Peters is holding out for more money? Everything I've read says only that Jason hasen't shown up to camp..and Parker is unavailable for comment. All of the writers (and posters) assume it's about money, but the only quote I could find remotely dealing with the actual participants in this was this,"Peters has not commented publicly about the dispute. His agents, Eugene Parker and Vincent Taylor, have also declined comment and have not returned numerous messages left with them by The AP over the past three days." I'm just wondering if this is really what his absence is all about...unless someone can show me a direct quote from one of them about wanting more money. I just couldn't find one.
  4. So what you are saying is that Jauron is basically like the kid who sets up the pieces on that game with the metal football field and just watches them vibrate to see what happens. To think that he has no say during a game is rediculous. I want him to have a say. Heck, I'll take him just throwing a review flag once in a while. At least then I know he's watching the game. I agree that he/they have put together a much better team and I really want him to succeed, But I saw too many things the last two years during games that really had me scratching my head and can think of two maybe three games where I believe we were outcoached. What is it that you have seen in him during games that makes you think he is the coach that will get us to the playoffs. If his only skill is assembling a great team then he should be a general manager, not a coach.
  5. I find Sterling totally annoying when he is in the studio. He speaks okay but he shouts everything. Look Sterl, I'm already watching. Why are you yelling at me? In a crowded stadium, doing play by play he'll probably be pretty good. You'll definitely be able to here him.
  6. In that case I'm in for "Quickdraw"
  7. I haven't been around here long enough to be able to tell if this thread is a joke or not. If it's a joke then fine. But if you are really ready to give up on Hardy after two preseason games then I am just baffled. He's 6'7" and had over a thousand yards and 16 touchdowns in 13 games last year. It was his first 2 NFL games ever and if that is all it takes for you to write someone off then you really need to find something else to do until September 7th. If it is a joke then I am sorry and carry on.
  8. I really didn't see anyone crying. They simply asked the question where was Hardy? What did he do last night?...no crying...just a question. And seeing as you said that the pre season is for the coaches to find out about certain plays and or players, I would think that that would be a reasonable question to ask as he would be one of the players they would want to find out about.
  9. RR has always shown us that he can be great, but he is kinda streaky. He'll have great games where he catches everything and scores. And then he'll disappear in other games. He also has never shown that greatness in a game that matters. I keep thinking of the Titans game where he didn't think to keep his feet in bounds. How do you make it all the way to the NFL and not have that ingrained in your head. With that said, He played great last night and I hope he carries it over to the regular season.
  10. The problem I have with this post is that it doesn't give us the number of other coaches who weren't good enough to be allowed to coach for more than 100 games. I'd rather be at the bottom of a list of good coaches, than at the top of a list of bad ones. I agree that he is lacking in certain areas that I hope he corrects this year, but I am really curious to see what he can do with what I feel is the most talented Bills team in years.
  11. I honestly do not care if they have a better or worse record than last year, as long as they are more entertaining than last year. Some of the games we won last year were some of the most God-aweful, boring, horribly played football I've watched in a long time. Win or lose, I want a good show.
  12. It's not just here either. ESPN and the NFL Network are doing the same thing. As if ESPN wasn't already almost unwatchable.
  13. Not decideing to influence playcalling...is influencing playcalling. "If you choose not to decide, You still have made a choice" Free Will - Rush
  14. Actually, I think they already have worked it out and Peters knows he's getting more money, but they told him to stay home and get completely 100% healthy. That way we would all be talking about him and not the sure to come Quarterback Contoversy. At least this way, that won't happen until week 2.
  15. I think we lost that game because of Jauron, not Peters. When the weather got bad, Caughlan was smart enough to not throw the ball and Dick wasn't.
  16. IIRC Peters got a $5 mil signing bonus for his last deal. So if he feels he is worth a new contract now, that means we've been paying almost six million a year for a RT who played half of one season and a LT that didn't finish a season. Up to this pointI think he owes the Bills money.
  17. It's not his first season although it seems like it. Before he got hurt last year it seemed like Posluszny was in on every tackle. I'm really curious to see if he is as good as I remember him to be. Man I hope so.
  18. Thanks for putting in the work. I was just looking at both schedules seconds ago looking for this, got distracted, then came here. Hey...my first post on TBD
