Do you think Saints will call about Trubisky?

Saints want to offer a first? Surely Will they do that? Never that’s the only way I would make the trade if I was the Bills. -

Go watch Tannehill’s tape from Miami and report back to us. -
Derrick Henry potential season ending injury

Exactly right. Henry was never going to be the version the Bills got in week 6 IF they played the Titans again in the playoffs. I don’t want Henry hurt, but nobody can carry the ball as much as he has without becoming worn down. -
Hill is brutal. Great for a gadget but taking all the snaps in a game really shows his deficiencies.

I wonder if Brown is inactive they dress Doyle? Be nice to see him at tackle for the fourth quarter with Trubisky in at QB and the Bills sitting on a huge shutout lead.

Spencer Brown likely out vs Phins, back injury

“Mississippi? I said count to five.”- Friends watchers will get that one I have a sneaking suspicion they may be managing the rookies snaps as well. Any sign of an injury is a good time to load manage, it doesn’t hurt that the opponent this week is Miami. -
Why does he upset Bills fans so much?

My take on the inactive list for Tenn had to do with McD’s confidence in Milano to play up to the level necessary. Why have all those LB’s active? Personally, I would have liked to see Klein line up with Edmunds. Milano sit and then activate Epenesa. Oh well, hindsight

This first time I started to look at Watt different occurred the year he hurt his back (I believe) and missed the entire season. Now his injury itself didn’t cause me to look at him different, it was the change to his body. I did not see Watt for months and then he showed up on the sideline for a Texans game verse the Pats. He was noticeably smaller. I wonder how much he has changed his natural body composition has caused his body to breakdown? Some people’s frame can handle the extra weight, etc. others not so much. Over time their body basically gives out.

You can see it that way, it’s a valid opinion.

Should I speculate this means Cole is being traded? Ha -
Right, but there are other things to consider than just money for a contract. Like the fact they gave up a first round pick for Brown, and need to figure that out. Do they throw a pick away and not sign him or sign him to what is sure to be a rather expensive contract, most LT cost money. Right now that looks like a damned if you do damned if you don't decision. If they do not sign Brown that will be two years in a row they basically wasted their first round pick. Need to talk more about how this is effecting the team now and will for years to come.
-
When I consider the contracts, it’s pretty bad. Creed Humphrey is the only prudent move made. Mahomes has always done those things you describe.
-
I didn’t say a bust. I said a product of a system. Now we are seeing that system breakdown. It will be interesting to see what happens to Reid and then Mahomes. Can Mahomes have similar success with a different HC/OC? I think we will find out sooner than later.

I appreciate you admitting you like to troll, I actually have more respect for you. Also admitting you were wrong about plenty of other things regarding the construct of the roster. I recall you being rather arrogant regarding the FA signings by KC, and telling me and a few others here that basically KC figured out a work around for pushing money down the road...Let's see how this works out for the team. KC could be the shortest "dynasty" the NFL has ever seen. What IF Mahomes really isn't that good, but was a product of a system like so many QB's to come out of the Big 12? I mean this could just as easily be the case as say KC ripping off 10 wins and then a SB run. Imagine having that contract in place and Reid leaves in a year or two? Time will tell.
-
KC is capable of getting beat by anyone right now. I honestly will not be surprised to see them finish below .500. The big thing for them right now is culture. I have a hard time finding a high character leader. Do they have many?

2017 Re-Draft - What would you do?

100%. The Chiefs right now need some leaders to step up. Watching that sideline yesterday and against the Bills, the Chiefs looked like Mike Tyson after the Buster Douglas fight. -

Remember when Russell Wilson was our “coulda, shoulda, woulda” QB? Just like Russ, I don’t think Patrick would have had a similar career with Buffalo. Failing to take into consideration the context of all the variables at the time of the pick is looking at things subjectively. -
I could see this injury as an opportunity for Daboll to use some interesting personnel alignments. Some that could be useful over the next couple of weeks with Knox out and then used later in the year to catch teams off guard.
-
So where are our Chief fans? I am sure if they had beaten the Titans 27-3 they would have been here by now. The Chiefs are done because the culture of their team. Chiefs don’t have leadership. I saw a sideline that had no clue how to act. Reid got his SB, I bet he will be done in KC in two years.
-
He came on here within minutes of the win. Gloating. That’s sad. There are so many people in my life I would be celebrating with than going on an opposing teams fan board to celebrate. This entire offseason he was on here talking about how stacked the Chiefs were and how they fixed their oline. He acted like the Chiefs figured out how to beat the cap with the way they structured deals. Seems to me they didn’t fix anything and made it all worse. Who is a high character, leader on that team? Seriously. They need some guys to come together and get everyone on the same page. 10 games left. We will find out a lot about the character of that team.
