  1. Pettigrew is a thug. He shouldn't be drafted by anyone.
  2. I was going to ask what happened to her. So, what happened to her?
  3. Um, Rogers is dead. Someone else did this.
  4. Hypotheticals like "without TO...?" And if you were to ask NFL "experts," every one of them would say that Pennington was the main reason for the Dols' success last year. I'll bet Bill Parcells would tell you the same. Not quite, but I knew they weren't going to make the playoffs. I figured 7-9, but going 11-5, missing the playoffs, and drafting in the bottom 1/3 was fine by me.
  5. And without the Pennington release last year, the Dols are 1-15 again.
  6. The Bills made moves over the off-season to improve weaknesses on offense, which is where they struggled last year. They're working on extending Peters, and adding another RB. They have a hole at LG and need a proven TE, but they could literally play anyone at LG and have him produce as well as Dockery did the past 2 years, while Fine could be a player and there is the draft. On defense, they lost more or less lost nothing since Crowell didn't play last year and Greer missed 6 games and was going to be replaced by McKelvin anyway. What they added was an excellent nickel (not starting) CB in Florence, will get Schobel and Youboty (who looked like the best DB until he got injured, and that will always be a concern with him) back, and they figure to draft heavily here. And the schedule doesn't look as hard as the "it's the 6th hardest on paper!" makes it out to be. I can see 10-6. So buck up little camper!
  7. Why wait? Fill a need and don't waste another draft pick on a position at which the Bills are 2-deep, and just need a replacement for a game or 3. And no rookie (especially a later-rounder, which is all I would advocate the Bills using) will be able to pass pro like Rhodes.
  8. Based on production, he's better than virtually every other RB that was available in FA. Which makes me wonder why he's still available?
  9. Naw, we should continue to field the all-choir boy team. It's worked so well in the past.
  10. Even still, 9 TD's is pretty impressive, especially since he only started 4 games.
  11. What? Teams don't want to pay for a guy who can score 9 TD's, catch 45 passes, and who (I've recently learned) is good in pass protection? Maybe Rhodes wants too much money?
  12. I just looked at his stats and he'd be a great pickup regardless. While his YPC wasn't great (3.5 YPC), the dude had 9 TD's last year (6 rushing and 3 receiving, which is 8 more TD's than Taylor). And he caught 45 passes. How/why was this guy still out there?
  13. STATS has a stat for the number of sacks given-up by offensive linemen. I don't know how they get the stats (i.e. by watching games or reading the stat sheet and seeing how many sacks the RDE got against a LT), though.
  14. Even with Peters' giving-up 11.5 sacks last year, Trent took less than 2 sacks a game (actually, 1.84, not counting the Cards game and half of the SF game, which he missed). If Peters has a full off-season and training camp, Hangartner proves to be an upgrade over Fowler/Preston, and the starting LG gives a spit, the Bills' O-line will not be a sieve.
  15. Um, shiv the mofo?
  16. While I don't know if I'd give the Bills the off-season Lombardi trophy just yet, adding TO was a great move. And I like part about how "[t]he Bills also were praised for signing former Panthers C Geoff Hangartner." McKinney was also a solid pickup, at least for depth, and Florence should be an excellent nickel, if not dime (depending on Youboty) back. I thought that Michael Boley would have been a good pickup, but at 223#, he's lighter than Ellison.
  17. I wish I could have seen Bruce play LDE in a 4-3, in his prime. Holy mother!
  18. I meant to bulk him up and move him to DT. As an alternative to playing DE.
  19. What is "too big for a 4-3 DE?" As long as he's got speed and quickness, which it appears he has, the size is an added bonus. And I doubt he lasts far into the 2nd round. If the Bills are looking at DE, I'd trade down and take this guy with a later-1st rounder. Maybe even consider bulking him up and moving him inside. The rest of the DE's really just don't intrigue me all that much.
  20. What a cancer.
  21. No. She's 56/100% pure, or 99-44/100% impure.
  22. Speaking of TO's 9 drops (in 140 targets), I recall Sean Payton criticizing TO for them, right after he was cut by the Cowboys. Well I happened to check-out Saints' WR stats, and Marques Colston dropped 8 passes in 88 targets.
  23. Well, the Chiefs drafted Cottam, but whether he's the replacement, long-term or otherwise, for Gonzalez remains to be seen (and highly unlikely).
  24. Cassel got sacked a JP-esque 47 times behind one of the best O-lines in football. Imagine what sack numbers he'll be taking behind the Chiefs' O-line. And without Moss and Welker, and it appears he'll be without Gonzalez, we'll all get to see just how good Matt Cassel really is.
  25. No, they magically get drunk. With pixy dust. Because that's about as sane an explanation as Lynch getting drunk without anyone seeing him drink.
