  1. Sorry, just going off of Tim Graham's earlier report. In any case, whether they're ultimately dropped or not, Sir Roger doesn't care about beating up women or DUI. Why should he care about aggravated disorderly conduct? Why should you, except to complain about another player on your alleged "favorite team?"
  2. Here comes the lawsuit.
  3. I would hope this is "personal" for most of us here, Lori. Even for Tim, a Buffalo guy. Whether it's a "crusade" is debatable, but despite your classification as such, I think you know EXACTLY what I'm getting at. But since (as I alluded to) this article has no chance of being written, maybe Tim can shed some light on how the Commish might have come to his decision?
  4. Thanks. But for some strange reason, I doubt an article like that ever gets written.
  5. Here's an idea for an article, Tim. You could discuss the Lynch suspension and compare it to the Brandon Marshall suspension, which was also (at least initially) 3 games. You could then ask why Marshall didn't have to meet with the Commish after his domestic violence case and especially after his DUI case, and wonder if the Commish doesn't view these to be serious problems, unlike traffic violations and guns in trunks. You could then also wonder why the Commish hasn't suspended Marshall again for getting arrested a 4th time, or even had another "sit down" with him.
  6. Maybe. But it's definitely "off the wall."
  7. That's what I thought initially. But you'd think that he'd do this discreetly through his lawyer, and not make it public. It will be interesting to see if he goes through with the lawsuit, if charges are dropped.
  8. . I couldn't even begin to approach you. I don't know how much more simplistic anyone could have portrayed themselves to be. Oh and your avatar speaks volumes.
  9. BFD. Given that the Commish doesn't care about domestic abuse or DUI's, disorderly conduct and resisting arrest should be child's play to him. Unless the rules are different for Bills players.
  10. Whitner's gonna sue
  11. I can't. I'm too amped-up.
  12. So, Donte was charged.
  13. Sure it does. The legal process plays out regardless. Then the NFL process takes over. Which means that it DOES draw more attention to it? Can you understand that, dude? I must have missed you explaining how Lynch's actions were as bad as, or worse than, Marshall's actions. But go ahead, make my day. LOL! I'm "a mess" because "ML did this to [me], dude?" Um no, sporto. He did this to himself. I won't be the one going to jail, or losing my paycheck, if he screws up again. And last time I checked, there are 52 other players on the team, including a backup RB who could probably hold down the fort until he returns.
  14. Charges were dropped. Next.
  15. Notice him beating Shawn Springs for a TD around the 1:30 mark. And again at the 3:05 mark. And the 3:20 mark.
  16. Must be those "changing dynamics" that BuffaloDenney spoke of.
  17. Age and value, but production as well. If COC had as good a season in 2008 as he did in 2007, he'd be worth more. The recent production in conjunction with age makes him worth less in trade.
  18. No worries. This won't merit a "sit down" with the Commish. Or will it?
  19. Chad Ocho Cinco (I looked him up first on NFL.com as Chad Johnson, didn't find him, and went to the O's and found him there ) is 31 and is coming-off a sub-par, injury-marred year. The analogy would fit somewhat if Peters has a(nother) sub-par, injury-marred year, but he'll be just 28.
  20. Yeah, because he as SO many options.
  21. Come on! So far no one has posted the best line in that song, and one of the greatest lines ever: "I can't complain but sometimes I still do."
  22. My bad on the 8 games thing. But apparently you have a learning disability as well because I've consistently said that based on what Marshall ultimately got, Lynch would ultimately at-most serve (which means what he'll actually miss, not what suspension was initially be handed-down) a one-game suspension, and that there was an outside chance at no suspension, after appeal. I never said he would definitely not get suspended. And yes, I know about the real world, dynamics changing, yada, yada, yada. I presume that what you're getting at is that since Burress shot himself in the leg, Lynch shouldn't get his suspension reduced like Marshall did, because his latest run-in with the law involved a gun. Well I guess that means that now that Stallworth killed a man while DUI, henceforth any player caught DUI will now get an automatic suspension, right? You know, changing dynamics and all. Do you think that has a realistic chance of happening?
  23. Their worth will be determined on the football field. Not on an internet message board, among people who aren't qualified to professionally assess NFL players (myself included).
  24. Greer missed 6 games last year. Can anyone do analysis of the pass defense pre- and post-Greer to see how much the Bills missed this "shut down" CB? And I'd take Youboty over Greer, with the way he was playing before he got hurt. But injury-proneness is unfortunately a perpetual concern for him.
