Amazing. Just amazing. Brandon Marshall gets arrested for domestic violence, DUI, battery, and disorderly conduct and gets a 3-game suspension, which gets reduced to 1 game on appeal. Lynch gets a traffic violation for failing to avoid hitting a pedestrian and a misdemeanor for being found with a loaded gun in a bag in his trunk, and also gets a 3-game violation. Goodell must be using a dartboard, for all the sense that makes. All I have to say is, this better get reduced to a 1-game suspension as well. At most.

That's right. Thanks.

I believe it was Walker who spoke to Peters and he told him that.

Good question. How did the Steelers "steal" Justin Hartwig "on the cheap" last year (2-year $3.725M deal) after also being released by the Panthers?

buftex: Boldin hasn't been traded yet, and it doesn't appear that he will be traded. The Bills not going after him has nothing to do with anything because it appears he isn't on the block, for anything other than a ridiculous deal. As Dean said, it realistically was Coles, Galloway, and Housh (although I don't think the Bills were interested in him), and the Bills lucked-into getting Owens. He's in Buffalo for a 1-year trial. If it works, great. If it doesn't, the team still sucks and he's gone and his career is likely over, and the same goes for Jauron and his head coaching career. As for why 3 teams got rid of him, I analogized his situation to that of Moss. Like TO, Moss was with his original team for many years (TO with the 49'ers for 8 years, and Moss with the Vikes for 7), and forced himself out and went to another team, where he was a malcontent and they got rid of him after 2 years. Where things are different is that Moss is with his 3rd team and has been for the past 2 years, while Owens was with the Cowboys for 3 years and got cut. But it's pretty odd how similar their paths have been, wouldn't you say? Speaking of the Cowboys situation, Owens got released because Jerry Jones made a Herschel Walker-type trade (LOL!) for Roy Williams, needed for Williams to be the unquestioned #1 WR in order to justify his stupid trade, and he knew that would never happen with TO on the team. I think that Jerry actually believe that getting rid of Owens will solve their offensive problems, failing to realize that they start with his QB, and a defense that gave-up 22.8 PPG, which was 13th worst in the NFL. Not to mention that Wade Phillips isn't HC material (Jauron isn't either, but it's not like Ralph is paying him big bucks or that the Bills' HC'ing gig is anywhere near as high-profile). I'm expecting it to be an ugly season is Dallas even without TO.

Peters stated that he wouldn't hold-out again this year. We'll see if that's true, should he not get traded or a get a new contract.

Regarding: - LT) Peters isn't the best OL in the NFL, therefore his demands to be paid like he is are unreasonable. I believe a $10M/year contract is fair, and if he doesn't think so, and instead of seeing him hold-out and/or give a half-hearted effort, the Bills need to cut bait. And judging by Modrak's words, Demetrius Bell at this spot might be what we'll see and might be just fine. - LG) I agree that putting anyone here would at worst duplicate the nothing that Dockery offered over the past 2 years. That's not saying the position would be a strength, just that Dockery is no loss. - C) Hangartner wasn't let go. The Panthers literally have no money to sign anyone after franchising Peppers and giving Gross his new deal. They had to cut starting CB Ken Lucas and need a replacement for him, but can do nothing at present. Much less sign guys who were backups for them. - RG) Butler missed 3 games last year, just like Peters did. - RT) Walker is a good player. He's not great, but he's effective. What will help the Bills out beyond the O-line is TO drawing attention away from the other receivers and away from the LOS, and Trent getting rid of the ball in a timely fashion.

He's 310-315#.
-
Hangartner will play center. Now the Bills still might draft a center and have him play OG, and only have him move to center if Hangartner proves he's not good enough.
-
They might not have led at any time in the game, but I don't see them being down by double-digits, much less 21 points, at the half.
-
UCONN would have given UNC a better game. I turned this off after the first 10 minutes.
-
Give any QB a "system" with Moss, Welker, Faulk, and that O-line, and they too would look good. But the true test will be how Cassel fares in KC. If he bombs, there you go.
-
Crowell still isn't ready to practice.

Apparently the guys who shot at the paparazzi were part of Brady's group. Mr. Bundchen should be having a sit-down soon with Mr. Goodell.
-
Or drunk. He's an well-known alky who drives drunk regularly.
-
Good thing the cop he shot at wasn't harmed.
-
Yep, it's true. Actually he's working on a contract to buy the Bills, seeing as how Ralph died and they're going to be moving the team to Toronto.
-
Not over Reed, in addition to Reed. You know, 3 WR's, a RB, and a TE?

Headcutting duel country-style

Why bother? They're out of the race anyway. Maybe not technically, but for all intents and purposes they are.
-
I'd start-off with a 4th, but go as high as a 3rd.
-
I've been a huge Peters supporter, but if he's adamant about getting $11M/year and the Bills can get a 1st and 3rd, take it. So the Demetrius Bell era starts early. And the Bills get some picks to help-out the team, instead of a player who has shown in the past that he'll sit-out, even to his own detriment.
-
That was a token suspension, since he was going to miss the rest of the season anyway. And teams can refuse to pay players for injuries sustained away from the football field.

Okay, you got me. Except for the fact that Lynch didn't carry the gun on his person, didn't carry it into a crowded nightclub, didn't shoot himself in the leg, didn't get charged with a felony, and didn't do jail time, it's the SAME case.
