  1. That was helmet-to-helmet. And dirty in that he intentionally kept his helmet to Trent's to drive his head into the ground, as you said. I expect a fine and suspension, maybe even more than Eric Smith got.
  2. Care to quote Trent's stat line from the Raiders game? A home game against a bad team, no less? It's a team game. And JP didn't fumble the exchange. And I didn't see a replay, but was the other fumble by him a fumble or an incomplete forward pass that was incorrectly called a fumble?
  3. The Chargers game is a should-win for the Bills. The Chargers aren't as good as they once were, will be coming-off a late Sunday game against the Patriots, in what should be a physical game, and will have to fly to the East Coast to play a 1 PM game in Buffalo, against a team with a week to rest and prepare. If the Bills DO manage to lose, it will be a bad omen.
  4. CM's cans are just as big and fake. And Sable's a lot prettier.
  5. None of them are better than Miss Elizabeth and Sable, although Torrie Wilson is pretty close.
  6. The Pats never get the calls and the league is against them. Didn't you know?
  7. On a side note, I thought "Razed in Arizona" to describe the Bills loss was pretty funny.
  8. Get Preston in at center as well.
  9. LOL! The Bills don't "totally suck." They're just not the SB contenders the 4-0 start had us believe.
  10. It all starts with the lines.
  11. Based on the Bills' offense struggling the first 3 weeks, I'd say that the Bills had NO chance of winning this game with the way the defense was playing. A closer loss is still a loss.
  12. My magic 8-ball says "doubt it" when I ask if kidprison has a clue.
  13. The team looked like they gave-up after Trent went down.
  14. Anyone that blames the loss on JP is a fool.
  15. Does anyone really think the Bills would have won the game if Trent had stayed healthy? Anyone?
  16. Miami's playing a heck of a game. But the Chargers pulled-out an emotional win after trailing most the game last weekend, and then had to fly across the country. I'm looking forward to the Bills playing them in 2 weeks, when the Bills have 2 weeks to rest and prepare and the Chargers have to fly across the country again.
  17. Looks like Wilson is going to give it a go. The Bills need to test him early and often.
  18. If Evans continues his reception pace and ends up behind Reed, Moulds, Thomas, and Metzelaars, wouldn't that put him at 5th in career receptions?
  19. Loosen the belt. You're backed-up.
  20. The answer is to blitz early and often.
  21. I completely agree. Dukes and Woodson were talking about the Cardinals' defense, ignoring the fact that Boldin, Berry and Wilson, who were featured prominently in the highlights, are likely out. Those are HUGE losses for them. Expect to see the Bills blitz Warner mercilessly, forcing him into INT's and fumbles.
  22. "There is unrest in the forest, There is trouble with the trees, For the maples want more sunlight And the oaks ignore their pleas. The trouble with the maples, (And they're quite convinced they're right) They say the oaks are just too lofty And they grab up all the light. But the oaks can't help their feelings If they like the way they're made. And they wonder why the maples Can't be happy in their shade. There is trouble in the forest, And the creatures all have fled, As the maples scream "Oppression!" And the oaks just shake their heads So the maples formed a union And demanded equal rights. "The oaks are just too greedy; We will make them give us light." Now there's no more oak oppression, For they passed a noble law, And the trees are all kept equal By hatchet, axe, and saw."
  23. Pretty dumb on the Cards' part for not shutting-down Boldin, Wilson, and Berry for this game. It's a non-conference game and these guys simply aren't 100%. They'd be healthier and thus more valuable against Dallas, a conference foe. But hey, if they want to play a less-than-100% Wilson, the Bills will be happy to make them pay for their mistake. And Breaston become a lot less dangerous as the #2 WR, especially facing a much better defense. He's nowhere near the game-changer Boldin is.
  24. For all intents and purposes, Boldin, Wilson, and Berry will be out. None have practiced since the last game. This should be another "should win" game for the Bills.
