  1. JJ mostly plays ST's. I didn't notice if he got into the game on offense or who, if anyone, was the 3rd WR in the 2nd half. I don't think any fan knows when Fine will be back. Hopefully after the bye. I believe they liked what they saw of Baker. And it wasn't a huge move but he was IR'd awhile ago. Kirk Chambers is the backup OT. Bell has mostly been inactive.
  2. The "blank face" part makes me think schizophrenia. The kid needs help, and lots of it.
  3. What's the funny part? Are you getting all LaDairis on us?
  4. Your savior. Bow down before him.
  5. The Cards have been averagin 26.5 PPG with Boldin, and scored 31 in their only home game, against the lowly Dolphins' defense. I can't see them scoring more than 20 without him, while I can easily see the Bills' offense scoring more than 23.
  6. Just checked and Greer's height at the combine in 2004 was 5'10-1/8".
  7. Don't injury reports come out by now? I wonder what's the story in the Cardinals' side? Edit: Nevermind, I found it. Wilson, Boldin, and Berry didn't practice today. Boldin and Berry are almost certainly out. Wilson said he wants to play, but hasn't practiced in a week. I'd be surprised if the Cards played him and didn't rest/save him for the following week's Dallas game, which is a conference game.
  8. I agree that they should give him a new deal if he makes a dramatic turnaround this year and makes All-Pro again. Failing that, wait until training camp next year, after he's shown-up to all the OTA's, minicamps.
  9. I heard a deal is done. But I'm waiting for the official word.
  10. I was hoping Will James would bring much-needed size to the secondary. And I thought Youboty was a lost cause. So much for my potential career as an NFL DB scout!
  11. Maybe JP's studying for the first 3 quarters of the games?
  12. What I meant to say is that the only other player (besides McKelvin, who they took) that had value and was a need for the Bills was Albert, but even that wasn't that great of a need since he doesn't play center (and I still wish they drafted Jamey Richard) and potentially would have displaced another high-priced player. IOW, I was agreeing with the McKelvin pick. And I think that with FA salaries being as crazy as they are, Greer could easily command $5M a year on the market. No way do the Bills pay that for him, and in turn make McGee mad.
  13. I forget which player it was, but either Chris Spielman or Bill Romanowski used to imagine that opposing players were trying to steal his (then) infant/young daughter. Hey, whatever motivation you need!
  14. From what I recall, the Bills didn't have any offers to trade down. And the only player whose value was there was Albert, but he's not a center (what the Bills truly need) and thus would have been a depth player this year, possibly pushing a current starter to the bench next year. Greer is likely gone at the end of the year, so McKelvin replaces him. And you only want McGee returning kicks for so long.
  15. I believe his on this and that the Broncos cheated WRT the salary cap. Elway was getting paid with car dealerships by Bowlen, from what I recall.
  16. Yes they're accurate. McGee is the shortest at 5'9".
  17. The Bills-Rams video it up (actually, it was up yesterday). Check out the 1:02 mark for Lynch's Beastly stiff-arm of Will Witherspoon, to turn a no-gainer into a first down.
  18. Just a bit. And I did know that Wilson missed last weekend's game against the Jets. I remember reading that and thinking that Favre would have a big day, but not as big as he had. Oh and Antrel Rolle is horrible.
  19. The Cards being without Wilson would be big. He's a Pro Bowler. And I still think it would dumb if Boldin didn't sit this one out, even if the brain scan looks the same as his previous one. But hey, no one every said football players were smart.
  20. If it were any team other than the Pats, I'd be more skeptical. But if it walks like a duck...
  21. The Cards are far less dangerous without Boldin. They're more like the Rams.
  22. The Patriots cheat? Never!
  23. The only rookie WR's performing well are Royal and Jackson. These guys though are 5'10" and would never have been drafted by the Bills anyway.
  24. Al Davis' explanation for Lane Kiffin's hiring.
  25. I think I have the answer. McIntyre was a RFA during the last FA period and the Bills brought him in, but he probably wanted more money than the Bills were willing to offer (a la Bryant Johnson), so he wasn't given an offer sheet. Getting no better offers, he re-signed with the Falcons for one year (again a la Bryant Johnson), only to be cut before the season started. The Bills probably still liked him, but since it was so close to the start of the season and Barnes knew the system, they decided to see what Barnes had. After failing to impress, the Bills made the move. Barnes is healthy, or at least healthy-enough to play, and even if he weren't, I don't think he could file a grievance since his salary for the season was guaranteed anyway. From the sounds of it, McIntyre should be an upgrade in the run-blocking department, and especially on ST's. He'll probably be no worse as a runner and receiver. That is, once he learns the system.
