  1. LOL! Like the Bills' divisional opponents are so great.
  2. I wouldn't even put Porter above Greer.
  3. The switch of Green for Bulger definitely made a difference, at least yardage-wise (the Bills still held them to just 14 points, which is the most important stat). Reportedly Al Saunders' playbook is about twice as thick as most OCs' playbooks. And as you said, getting Bell back and inserting Avery and his speed were improvements as well, not to mention pulling-out all the stops out of desperation.
  4. David proved to be a bust LAST year, i.e. before Porter arrived. And Young didn't show enough to warrant considering him for a starting spot, hence the Saints drafted Porter in the 2nd round (Young was a 3rd rounder in 2007). The Saints' only real move to improve the secondary, outside of drafting Porter, was bringing-in the inconsistent Randall Gay from the Patriots. So again, Porter didn't have to compete with much and was given the lion's share of PT with the starters in camp as a result. But as I acknowledged, he's been playing well. He's barely played because he's buried on the depth chart. And in his most extensive action, yesterday, he played well. So the Saints' FO was dumb for taking Bush with the 2nd overall pick, but smarter than the Bills' FO for drafting Porter. Okay.
  5. Isn't Trent smart, meaning he can read defenses and thus know where the blitz is coming from? Isn't he also allowed to audible?
  6. I was going to post this. Porter basically HAD to start for the CB-talentless Saints. And yes, he's played well. Except for giving-up the game-winning TD against the Redskins a couple weeks ago. SQUAWK! McKelvin OTOH hasn't needed to start, yet he more than held his own against the Rams, who went after him yesterday. But I guess the Bills definitely made a mistake, especially seeing as how McKelvin is doing kickoffs and Porter is so great a punt returner, they're not even using him there. Still, congrats on ID'ing Porter, King, and Geisinger. With that body of work, I'm sure NFL teams will be calling you to be their head of scouting. NOT! You're not even a third-rate Kiper. The fact you're an arrogant prick makes you an even bigger joke.
  7. He shouldn't be expected to. However he did a solid job yesterday.
  8. Peters gave up some plays, but made more than his share of them. It's not like Trent's blindside protected itself and the offense did score 24 points. That being said, Peters has not performed like a Pro Bowl LT so far, much less an All-Pro one. Any fantasies he or his agent had about him missing all that time and magically picking-up where he left-off, not to mention a new deal this year, are rapidly vanishing. And if he doesn't show major improvement before the end of the season, he might not even get a new contract before next season gets underway, i.e. after he's put in the work he should have over the off-season.
  9. The Cards play in a dome. It won't be hot, much less as hot as the Bills saw in Jax.
  10. With the loss of Roscoe for another month at least, the Bills don't have that luxury anymore. As I said, Trent is already comfortable with Lee and Josh and needs to spend more time practicing with James.
  11. As Simon mentions, he didn't get his hands on the Z-out. The first pass was with him in full stretch and the ball glanced off his fingertips. And on the fade, the defender played it perfectly because the pass wasn't high enough. The point being, Trent and James need to work together more. Trent already seems to be in-synch with Lee and Josh, and without Roscoe for another 4-6 weeks, James is the man.
  12. Someone mentioned but not on the list, Scarlett Johansson, is off the market. She just secretly married Ryan Reynolds.
  13. I'm sure it's that simple in your world.
  14. Yep, it should have been higher, while the first one was too high. The 2nd incompletion to Hardy looked like a miscommunication on the route.
  15. Thanks for the explanation.
  16. Could be. But no one else has complained about it.
  17. I heard he took a consulting job with the Falcons. But I can't find proof.
  18. Ever since the skin change, I can't get the "go to last post" function to work and I get the first post in every thread. Any suggestions?
  19. On Bills Daily, they are saying that Jauron said McGee "may miss some time." Dang.
  20. I'm more worried about the offense showing-up in the first 3 quarters. But yes, Schobel's invisibility is a concern.
  21. According to PFT, Boldin is fine. He "just" got knocked out. Good news.
  22. A bad injury in garbage time.
  23. The Raiders are the 10th worst in points allowed. I wouldn't call that a good defense.
  24. On the sack, that was a great move by Long and there was NO ONE inside to pick him up. Few OT's would have been able to make that play. But Peters does need to step up his play.
  25. Trent has not been sharp.
