Don't sell him short. He's a tremendous slouch.
Just kidding. Never meant to imply he was. Just that I think Boldin is better and draws attention away from him. Boldin was there a year before Fitz and was a monster.
Roof is closed. Boldin, who played almost the entire game for the Cards last weekend, will likely be out. That would be a HUGE loss for the Cards. Personally I think he's better than Fitzgerald.
He got doubled and taken out of the play, but Whitner had a free path to Jackson and ended-up running into his own player and completely missing Jackson.
Probably for the same reasons Greer and Jackson didn't play much, until injuries hit. And I didn't focus on Copeland Bryan (who I just saw is 6'4" and 240#), but if he was as bad as everyone says, there's no reason Ellis shouldn't replace him in the rotation.
There's really nothing more to say about them. They looked like a dynasty, and then were found to have cheated and thus tainted their titles (and spare me the "they didn't cheat..." rhetoric). Now Brady's out and it looks like their window is closing, if not closed.
Not really. But that's why they play the games.
It's even better then that the Steelers won. Flacco looked really good for a rookie and has a cannon for an arm, and the Ravens looked to be in complete control until their meltdown about 10 minutes into the 3rd quarter.
Yep. And in addition to his salary, he got a small ($6,720K) bonus, probably for working-out with the team or something like that. According to Clumpy's numbers.
I mentioned this in another thread. The Titans opponents so far are no better than the Bills' opponents, and the Bills played the Jags in Jax in oppressive conditions. I agree that the greater love for them is based on rep, but is Kerry Collins the guy you want leading your offense for the long-term?
The only other 4-0 team is the Titans. They haven't beaten great teams either (Jags at home, Bengals, Texans, and Vikings).
But the Bills still haven't played well for a full game, offensively. So there's reason for hope.
