  1. Past hour
  2. You can definitely some similarities in terms of roster building with both franchises. I do feel that Beane and McDermott undervalue WR’s and it’s the one position that has been mismanaged. They lost a number of established vets over the past three seasons and rather than re-loading, they simply doubled down on players they had on the roster (McKenzie, Davis etc) which backfired.
  3. that's it. that's what i'll take when heart stops working.
  4. Great news. We will need that money to retool. Also have a bunch of draft picks. 1st 2 - 2nds 3rd 2 - 4ths (comp) 2 - 5ths (comp) 6th 7th I think this is accurate.
  5. That's right....roll your eyes at DK Metcalf! It only makes it more likely to happen. Just like Diggs 🤪
  6. D Adams has a $17M salary, that's not insane. That was an old article linked- and how they will be keeping their own - J Jacobs. How'd that work out. Let's not take these sound bites as gospel. Just because you keep saying we don't have the money, doesn't make it true. We are getting $10M for Tre on June 1st. Have you ignored the other thread on how the Bills are scheduled to have over $23M in cap in 2025? That is before some moves that could be made - like Von or restructure Josh. Potential finances seem there to me. I don't know why you only think Higgins or Aiyuk/Samuel are the only ones. Why eliminate DK Metcalf and D Hopkins? And that article certainly didn't eliminate D Adams in my mind.
  7. The original Flynn 302, the one that said Flynn didn't lie to the FBI and agrees with what top FBI officials told Congress, wait for it.....went missing! Imagine that an FBI document about something so serious as a traitor general lying about his ties to Russia...just goes poof, never to be found! Useful idiots remain so very useful to their commie masters.
  8. this adds valuable insight and discussion to the thread. thanks.
  9. I'm definitely coming out there to visit, hopefully sans funeral, then catch a Bills game this year. Sabatelle's Is the place for sandwiches and everything Italian deli... just fantastic. Gerry's Pizza in WB is perfection, and my absolute must have when I go back are hot dogs at Ferris's Barney St. Lunch... frickin greatest thing ever made by humankind.
  10. Not shooting the OP here but it never fails.........as soon as the team stops spending freely the fans start counting cap dollars not spent as W's. For any reason, good or bad, rational or irrational. I sure hope that a star WR doesn't get traded after June 1 and the Bills aren't ready to accept prosperity when it presents itself.
  11. Interesting he led the NFL in YPC one season at GB with 20.9 His speed and size along with that meet the criteria for explosiveness Beane and Sean kept talking about Yes he's inconsistent, but a playoff player.
  12. Yeah why is this back up? It will probably take a football miracle(read: a bunch of injuries) for DK Decaf to make this opening day roster with all the veteran scrubs they've guaranteed money to.
  13. I said if no more spending. Can add in the Practice Squad money, which is at most $1 or $2 million, if that. Still leaves us over $20m. And again... I said if no more moves and we roll over the money we don't spend into next year. If we spend ALL our Tre White money and our remaining CAP, we'll still have $14m in CAP space plus the $8.5m if we cut Von with only Spencer Brown as our in-house remaining "big" UFA.
  14. I think Shorter getting a year to "red shirt" was a smart move for a team that had few roster slots. I think what's going to be the best path for Shorter (esp with the MVS signing) to develop into a legit WR is going to be getting a WR5/6 slot as a ST player. He's a big athletic dude with a 8.9 RAS so even if he's not the most polished WR if he can get a stud special teams player and work on the WR aspects of his game I think he can secure a bigger receiving role in 2025.
  15. I had a kefuffel w them about renewal. The wanted over $800 for the year of digital. I just dropped them . To many issues recent times. Based on my friends input, I am thinking they may go under, lots of cancellations.
  16. He dropped the pass from TT in the endzone against the Jags. then he went crazy in the off season. Good luck Cards
  17. You are correct that there were 3 longer completions to Shakir on the season........the longest being 30 yards from the LOS not 40 yards. Your math is terrible and your attention span watching a 2:59 video is very poor. But my forgetting some busted coverage plays and your subsequent exaggeration doesn't change the point in any way. The 3 longer throws were all wide open sideline throws........busted coverages. None of those were posts trying to split the safeties like they attempted on that fateful 2nd and 9. Even the one versus the Jets that I had credited as the second longest throw.......because that one actually WAS in traffic.........was NOT that throw. It was a stupid time to attempt a high degree of difficulty throw that they hadn't completed all season. Especially considering that they had failed to connect on big plays all night. The handling/choices of 13 seconds was debatable. All that was needed was one very SIMPLE play to be made to end that game. 2nd and 9.........not so debatable. Even if you WIN that play.......the prior 58 minutes of that game + the Chiefs need to score a TD playing 4 down football.......well if you have any common sense whatsoever that tells you that you probably lose the game anyway. That's the point. They chose to turn the result of the game over to their weaknesses.......defense and special teams.......... instead of finishing it with the only thing that had gone right that day........methodical offense.
  18. I'd still say 30% chance we acquire an impactful WR next month. Since Beane has gone on an absolute warpath adding 6'4 WR's.... Finish it. DK Metcalf Coleman Samuel Shakir MVS Claypool / Hollis / Hamler / Shorter / Shavers / Cephus / Isabella / UDFA's Battle for 1 or 2 spots on 53 and 2 on PS Coleman, MVS, Claypool, Hollis are all 6 ft 4. A pretty notable development
  19. It's a 54 in deck. https://www.deere.com/en/mowers/zero-turn-mowers/z500-series/z530r-ztrak-mower-54-in/
  20. Allen through for 4,306 yards in 2023. You are confident he will exceed last years total, but put 4500 yards at low odds. Your predicition is pretty precise, somewhere between 4307 and 4499 yards.
