I know you heard rumors that they were trying to get Calvin Ridley, have you heard that he drew a hard line on the 2026 first? The whole thing is pretty vague. As much as I think Beane stinks, these reports really don’t seem very clear that that line was drawn.

Given what choice, exactly? If it was a choice between Metcalf or Bernard, Palmer and Knox on the team for roughly the same money, I would rather have Metcalf. Shakir has been a disappointment.

Shakir is not producing this year. We keepntalking about no receivers, but we are paying Him top receiver money and he is not living up to his salary. Ladd on the other hand is the Charger main weapon and produces even though defenses have to key on him. We had the opportunity to pick up Kennan Allen thisbyear before he resigned with LA.

Everything that could help us the most, can be done without the constraints of a salary cap. Your point is valid, and makes a potential hire scary, but it need to be done. Terry needs to hire a board of consultants to help interview/pick the right guys, that costs $$$.... but no salary cap on that.
