I honestly want him gone over this. He refused to get Allen a WR2 when we had Diggs, post Beasley, and now he refuses to do much of anything, at all, at WR. As a result, Allen looks mentally and physically spent. The entire reason Beane is still a GM in this league, looks like he’s lost, frustrated and beat up. And how he’s handled WR this year, from the arrogant WGR outburst to the report he’s the reason why Waddle is not in this team. His refusal to go from a ‘27 1st to a ‘26 1st. I’ll tell you this… McDermott and Allen looked like two guys who thought they were getting help at the deadline only to be left empty handed.

I know you heard rumors that they were trying to get Calvin Ridley, have you heard that he drew a hard line on the 2026 first? The whole thing is pretty vague. As much as I think Beane stinks, these reports really don’t seem very clear that that line was drawn.

Given what choice, exactly? If it was a choice between Metcalf or Bernard, Palmer and Knox on the team for roughly the same money, I would rather have Metcalf. Shakir has been a disappointment.
