Debate Over: Drake Maye can’t hold Josh Allen’s jockstrap
Kelly to Allen replied to Einstein's topic in The Stadium Wall
All joking aside, Maye is pretty good but I don't think he's as good as Herbert. -
Darius Slay claimed on waivers by Buffalo
Einstein's Dog replied to TD716's topic in The Stadium Wall
My god, follow along - Slay wasn't hoping to clear waivers, he wanted to go to Philly and still get paid. Rosenhaus had prearranged it with Philly - that's tampering. Why are you continually making stuff up - "it goes on every single day", What - waivers are somewhat rare, and not supposed to be prearranged moves. Now you're making up "hoping he would clear waivers". More likely the exact opposite, he did it with the intention/information that he would be claimed. Why, when asked didn't Slay just say what you claim above? Instead, he said ridiculous things, ie things like "it's cold in Buffalo" or "I didn't want to uproot my family" Hopefully it's not the end of the story. Yes, Slay didn't want to play here, but there are supposed to be penalties for tampering. -

Didn't say it wasn't -
Allen saw what needed to get done and did it. Maye couldn’t, right now his is a very good game manager. Nothing special about the guy. He could develop into something more, but I question it. I’d rather have a qb like Josh who has to be reigned in, who is a gunslinger and will try to do whatever it takes to win. Maye looked scared to make a play. Not sure if that’s his personality or coaching.

McDermott not in control of the roster Every single quote from Terry P and the bills the last x amount of years all point to Brandon Beane being in full control of the roster Sean tells him the arch types he wants.. BB brings them in So Sean is getting ingredients and just making the meals The difference is bb years ago brought in Cole Beasley and diggs and John Brown and Sanders and drafted Davis He hasn't been able to replicate that and Sean just works with what he has As to not challenging the catch yesterday.. the Patriots who are in control of the jumbotron did not play a replay.. and they ran up to the line to hike fast.. Sean had no chance to even see what the play looked like But and the bills had a questionable play the eye in the sky was very fast to overturn us

Ravens are going to destroy the fraud pats McKorkle 2.0

McDermott still in over his head
HamptonBillsfan replied to vtnatefootball11's topic in The Stadium Wall
Never said Sean was the problem, but the fact that we don’t get over the hump . is in some part due to things like game day decisions(see 13 seconds, not playing Cook the last 2 series at KC last season, not adding a receiver or a DB, or a Defensive Tackle at the deadline, or challenging the Boute catch yesterday. Sean is a motivator no doubt, but he is not a coach that makes good decisions. -
any further info on Gabe Davis being inactive yesterday?
Chaos replied to dave mcbride's topic in The Stadium Wall
This kind of makes sense -
Some of you are maybe too quick to give up the division. What if Maye gets dinged vs. Ravens? AI says Miami has a 1 in 3 chance vs. Cheats as of today. Sounds about right. Too bad it is not in Fishville. Still rooting for Steelers tonight. Miami going to be dead by week 18 is my guess, we need them to play for pride (gulp!)

If the Bills plan IN Houston they are toast. If they play here I will be in attendance and my record in NRG is 0-4 with the Bills, 0-1 with Cuse, and I didn't technically lose but I definitely didn't feel like a winner leaving after Taylor Swift.

MrEpsYtown replied to Slippery Rubber Mats's topic in The Stadium Wall
Josh Karty is on the Rams practice squad. He lost his job this year but he’s interesting and was a 6th round pick. Lucas Havrisik Is on the Packers practice squad and I feel like the Bills tried him out last year. Maybe he was on the practice squad. Tucker makes sense in the short term. -

Kelly to Allen replied to dave mcbride's topic in The Stadium Wall
My only guess is they need a legitimate backup punt return guy, which Coleman can do and Gabe can't. Now that Hardman is back, Gabe should be active Palmer Gabe Shakir Shavers Cooks Hardman - return guy Coleman - inactive -
Have to admit they convincingly stifled the Packers yesterday and their O looks clean and systematic. They did beat the Eagles and Texans, but not much else. They don't score many points but give up even fewer. Best in the league at stops on third down. Are they the biggest threat to get past? Scare anyone?

Or, are we just THAT dedicated to this team of ours 😁 -
This is pretty much how I feel. I didn’t like McDermott when he got here that first season and kept trying to start peterman. But he won me over since, I think in most respects he is a good coach and I have been a full blown McD apologist for years. I remember all the other coaches we’ve had the last two decades. New isn’t always better. But that was an obvious incompletion I could see it from my tv. McD has been blowing these challenge situations since he got here. I thought we brought someone in to help w this. Watching Vrabel next to the ref unable to throw his challenge flag fast enough the next drive just gave a side by side comparison of how the Bills do it and the correct way to do it. McD is still a good coach. But he spotted the opposing team 7 points in an important game. Again. That won’t cut it in the playoffs. This is pretty much how I feel. Debate Over: Drake Maye can’t hold Josh Allen’s jockstrap
Buffalo716 replied to Einstein's topic in The Stadium Wall
I never said he hit his ceiling Stop lumping me in with everybody else.. I did say their style of play is not even comparable And that Josh Allen was doing things his first 25 games that no quarterbacks do including Drake Maye Drake does not hurdle and truck linebackers and juke out safeties consistently.. Josh was doing that while throwing piss missiles even if there were mistakes -

Debate Over: Drake Maye can’t hold Josh Allen’s jockstrap
Buffalo716 replied to Einstein's topic in The Stadium Wall
We had a sieve for an offensive line.. We had two solid receivers... So Josh was running around to create for his life Josh Allen's third season he literally had 37 touchdown passes and 4500 yards lol Literally be better than 19 of 23 seasons of Tom Brady lol Josh Allen's third season was better than 19 of Tom Brady seasons passing touchdown wise He was a star year 3.. and was already showing all of that year 2 without an offensive line that's why he was running around .. he made some crazy passes despite the narrative you're saying His rookie year his number one wide receiver by season end was an undrafted kid named Robert Foster The Patriots team year two with Maye is a head of where the bills were year two with Allen as a TEAM -
Babich and McD have been making awesome halftime adjustments. Many games the Bills D got run over in the first half, and tightened up in second half. Cossel said the Bills D does not have the talent, but are schemed better, so they are greater than the sum of their parts. He said going down big in the first half, and coming back and winning is unsustainable. But the Bills do it over and over. And they are very comfortable coming back from multiple TDs down

Or maybe they don't, so they keep playing him when they should not.
