  1. Past hour
  2. WHAT Always do our best to make the playoffs. Always. Gotta get reps and experience. Those 2 things are always a positive. Never a negative.
  3. Throw them open? How does a QB throw a WR open when the defense is running the route for them? You’re asking him to throw interceptions.
  4. If Wildcard is what it takes to be in the playoffs, that fine by me.
  5. Agreed, #1 seed dream is totally dead. Division is on life support, and the Pats need to lose this weekend to keep it alive.
  6. Joe Brady was actually the Bills QB coach before he became OC, and he was the passing game coordinator at LSU before he was OC for the Panthers. It's supposed to be his strength!
  7. I hope they don’t even get in the playoffs honestly. They have zero chance to win it all It’s way different. This team is severely flawed on both sides of the ball
  8. Just sucks. Allen’s time is running out. You can see it can you? Dude used to consistently break the sacks he couldn’t tonight. He won’t have the same MVP juice we are used to in a few years. Cam Newton 2.0, without the Super Bowl appearance of course.
  9. He threw Davis open near the end but he couldn't get his other foot down in bounds at the 2 yard line.
  10. Wrong We're supposed be 'complementary' Your perception is due to Allen's greatness and McDermott's awfulness
  11. How they'll use him?!?! He's a WR... THEY WON'T.
  12. Funny the D stats show that the Bills are a bottom 10 D..ST are terrible. O needs to be better particularly the OC.
  13. yeah it doesn’t matter. This thing is past its best by date. I hate to say it but part me is ok with missing the playoffs if it means they blow this thing up. Keep the QB and change everything else. Sometimes you have to take two steps back to move forward. Give ground to gain ground.
  14. The o-line got whooped tonight, but they were up against it and Brady did them no favors. I think they are fine in the short-to-mid term. The problem is the offensive scheme and the pathetic receiving corps. The D is a big issue with tons of holes to fill. Hairston and Bishop are promising playmakers. Walker might turn into something and Oliver is good when healthy, but we otherwise need replacements at safety, both ends (assuming Bosa walks), both linebacker slots, nickel corner and another starting caliber corner to push Benford.
  15. Houston’s team is carried by their defense. Buffalo’s team is (supposed to be) carried by their offense and generational QB. Different expectations for each team. But hey! Today I learned that if the defense has a bad half of football, the offense isn’t to blame for lack of scoring throughout the game because the defense just put too much pressure on them - no matter how well they play the second half.
  16. I don’t think we will need to win 12 games to make the playoffs. 11-6 will make it (that’s 4-2 the rest of the way). 10-7 might even make it (that’s 3-3). Not that it matters, since I don’t see how this team could make a SB run anyway.
  17. Sure, we just need to be a basement team and pick the top defensive player in the draft like the Texans did with Will Anderson and have him on a rookie contract (and also have our QB on a rookie contract). Those guys don't grow on trees, and there is a reason Anderson went 3rd overall.
  18. Bills fans watching Hallmark on Saturday Night.
  19. The problem with Daboll is that he was a one-trick pony in that if the defense stopped or shut down his passing game plan, he had no plan B. Very little effort in game planning the run game. Don't get me wrong, as he would design some brilliant passing schemes. Clearly he didn't think enough of the run game to utilize it properly and he even allowed the Giants to trade away Barkley to a division rival. Brian Daboll isn't the answer as he might only be good as a passing game coordinator just like Joe Brady looks to be only a run game coordinator. A Greg roman clone!
  20. Does it even matter? We will get dogged walked in the playoffs. 0-5 in road playoff games. No real defense. No offensive identity. This team is FRIED!!!!!!!!!
  21. Yes, Houston Texans is not to be feared. They have the number one defense, but it's a not an historic one like the 1986 Chicago Bears, 2000 Ravens, 2004 Buccaneers, Peyton Manning's Denver Broncos, Seattle Seahawks' Legion of Boom, Brady's Patriots, Mahomes' Chiefs, recent Eagles defense. C'mon, Houston Texans is not on that level and, tonight, they showed they can be beaten. We came close tonight.
  22. So when we see what a good defense does to a good offense we think…our offense needs to be better. We can’t imagine how good our current offense would be with a defense like Houston’s, we can only imagine our offense being better.
  23. Gabe with a huge catch late
  24. There are 6 games left. 4-2 (11-6 record) very likely gets in, 3-3 (10-7 record) is more dicey and probably comes down to tie breakers. We have the tie breaker over KC and BAL. We don't have the tie breaker of HOU. We will get a chance to get the tie breaker over PIT. Now the PIT game is pretty big. We can likely go 3-3 the rest of the way as long as one of the wins is PIT.
  25. Its insane. It’s driving 30 miles an hour in a Bugatti. I don’t get it.
  26. I think we’ll just agree to disagree.
