Quarterback Career Comparison Allen vs Lamar
Sojourner replied to BillytheKid's topic in The Stadium Wall
What app/platform did you extract those stats from @BillytheKid? Thanks -
When? He was up for 17 games last year.
-
He was injured
-
Sure, but fewer yards overall. Some of that is usage granted. I don't think Samuel is very good either so I wouldn't have a big fight about it, but Dotson is a bust and he is out of excuses.
-
Dotson and Samuel were teammates for two years and dotson averaged more yards/game and y/r plus more TDs just fyi

Quarterback Career Comparison Allen vs Lamar
GunnerBill replied to BillytheKid's topic in The Stadium Wall
I think career stat comparisons overstate the gap. Because Lamar is worlds better as a Quarterback now than he was even 2 or 3 years ago. They were both raw coming out but Josh got to elite more quickly. I still think it is Pat and Josh 1A and 1B in some order with Lamar and Joe both in the elite tier but at #s 3 and 4 respectively. -
So Shakir definitely would, Palmer definitely would and Curtis Samuel when on the same team for two years clearly out produced him and then even last year when both moved on and had clunky landings in new spots out produced him again. So those 3 are a given. Elijah Moore I could take an argument on because there is a reason he is bouncing around the league but production wise has more in the book. And Keon I could take an argument on too, I didn't like him or Dotson particularly coming out but his rookie season he had more yards than Dotson has ever managed. So yea, I think the Bills 1-5 would probably all be the 3 in Philly. Wide Receiver is actually one position Howie Roseman has not drafted particularly well aside from Devonta Smith who was a slam dunk (although I think they traded up a spot or two to get him so credit for that).

I don’t feel humiliated…I always knew, going into the Trump presidency, that Trump was beholden to the Establishment, on certain things. Am I disappointed about some things? Sure…I think anyone who votes for a candidate gets disappointed from time to time…But there are also things, that Trump has done, that I support. But right now, I just feel Trump handling the Epstein situation so horribly…Turning on his base just goes to show he doesn’t really understand who/what MAGA really is. The Epstein saga might not mean much to Trump- but it gets to heart of what every freedom loving patriot stands for- Transparency in government and holding the rich and powerful accountable. If Trump does not believe in that, he is not truly MAGA, and we will move on.

Also, the spelling coach. You didn't hear? Bosa is "mentoring" him. Especially when combined with jet skis. Well that's a relief... now maybe I'll be able to sleep at night.

Ok give me the 5depth guys who would start over him lol

Imagine being a farm boy who refuses to drink milk and eat cheese -
RIP to this clown’s entire legacy

Sorry you slept through the Dareus years. And the contract of Miller’s wasn’t the issue.
-
Oh, you mean like the Patriots did when they were winning all kinds of Super Bowls?
-
Bingo
-
While well-intentioned, this contract may go down as one of the worst in Bills history and a reason why Josh Allen has not yet reached a Super Bowl.
-
Nah. He sucks. People still waiting for the light to go on with him will be waiting forever.

I find this interesting. It’s a huge game of chicken, not all that unlike back in the day when hold outs were relatively common place. The league, and the fans, thought they’d moved past all that with the new rookie pay scale. It appears those days are over. The Agents have apparently found what they believe is their new golden goose. We’ll see how it plays out.
-
That Rams opener was something else. Shame how it played out, but the Bills had one big contract to hand out and gave it to Von. Looking back, what else could we have done with that money to win a Super Bowl? We've pretty much kept everyone we’ve wanted to. Could we have spent on a couple good, not great players in Free Agency to add the litany of those types we already have? Sure.. does that change anything? Benford is great but keeps getting hurt in the playoffs. They made the Rasul trade and weren’t going to supplant him. Linebackers are set, but keep getting hurt. Safety plan has been shown.. Rapp and a high draft pick. OL has been elite for two years now. Running backs set. Paid a Knox plus a high draft pick. WR’s could use help but they literally paid Diggs to play for another team. Bottom line is we need to hit on draft picks, specifically early in the draft where the traits more often can lead to game changing players instead of good, not great. Game changers are rarely available. Only reason Von became available was due to age and the Rams not offering him a third guaranteed year. And we saw what happened..
