  1. Past hour
  2. Short answer: Focus more on creating a better future, instead of putting up barriers to progress. Democrats are so focused on "fairness" that nothing ends up getting done. New York state is a compassionate state, so much so that we can't build enough houses and end up with homeless people all over the place. They don't have a homeless problem in Houston, they just build there. We have so many issues with transportation, and look at California's bullet train fiasco. Trump is pushing for the eVTOL revolution which is a great thing and will lead to a revolution in transportation, I think and hope. (Not just because I invest in that area, lol) And on Global Warming, why in the hell are the Dems pushing for a complete change to electric vehicles no one wants? I guess its a hatred of the oil industry in part. A simplier and less disruptive and politically sensible solution is to make a scientific push for carbon sequestration. Make it a priority of Democratic leadership to figure out that technology. We can all keep our interal combustion vehicles, which I think we love, really. But no, Dems have to do it the hard way and piss everyone off. The future looks scary with AI, space weapons, drones, China growing stronger everyday, authoritarianism a threat, and Democrats had better get ahead of things on those fronts by showing democracy works and above all else that it, and the Democratic Party, can actually accomplish somethings, big things. Word!
  3. They need to get tougher on trans rights. The American people have spoken and they demand to know where the Dems sit on trans rights! Sadly, this is likely an actual conversation happening at the DNC. Dems learned nothing over the last 8 years. If they had a candidate who would focus on jobs, prosperity, and boosting the standard of living for working class Americans they just might never lose again. Instead they're baited into debates on fringe social issues. They're more concerned about winning the supposed moral high ground than they are with winning elections and as a result they're broadly viewed as arrogant, humorless, and preachy. I think Trump and MAGA is more a repudiation of both political parties and our ruling elite. He promised to burn everything down. Ironically, the rejection of our political elitism is embodied by a rich Manhattan socialite who LARPs as a self made man but here we are. Trump's self aggrandizing travels too. Latinos and Black voters love the machismo, the under educated love the complete lack of decorum and decency. Trump is flame to the moth for everyone who has been cast aside as dumb, trashy, hairbrained, and generally undesirable. He brought them all in under the tent. He platformed their basest opinions and assured them they weren't alone.
  4. As a (former) Pirates fan I was required by law to hope that Bonds would get plunked in his fat head every time he stepped to the plate.
  5. Their word? Of course not. What will they demand as proof? I'm certain that's something that's part of the unconditional surrender negotiations.
  6. Sorry I thought you were saying the two Superbowls were two different Head Coaches. My bad if I misinterpreted.
  7. I say we all apply, and winners donate their tickets to Astro.
  8. It was Bruce Smith’s birthday yesterday. Apparently, he was late to his party because he was driving and on the way there fell asleep at a red light.
  9. Yeah but Bosa played in 14 games last year.
  10. Read the fine print, people! 'Credit' might be the Jets send you Aaron Rodgers branded merchandise in exchange for surrendered tickets. 🤔🤨
  11. Living in the Bay Area when Bonds was on his homerun rampage, all the local stations would break in for a Bonds at bat if he was about to tie/break a record. The whole area (except for Oakland fans) was glued to the Giants and Bonds. More so than the 49ers or Raiders at the time.
  12. I have a specific question in regards to the above blurb where stated "To see if Iran abandons their nuclear program" what EVIDENCE will the USA receive which will; DEFINITIVELY shows they have abandoned their nuclear program? is the USA going to believe them on word alone PFFT NOPE Can't the Iranian regime do whatever they want on the down low and lie to our face AS USUAL? I don't get it. thoughts? m
  13. haha. Just playing devils advocate. I love Josh. It's no secret that he struggled against the Raven's defense last season, as did a lot of teams that played them. Hopefully they come up with a much better game plan for week one. Go Bills!!
  14. “western civilization” will be just fine I’m sorry free speech offends you. Tissue?
  15. “You don’t have to lose money reselling your tickets, leave that to us!”
  16. It’s got to be a rip off of morning routine guy
  17. Pitch clock is a reason baseball is at the forefront for me again. Just hope the looming ABS doesn’t muck it up. Baseball was 1st as the sport we played collectively growing up and being in Yankees country made it all the more appealing. I could watch the worst MLB teams play, unlike football. First off half standing around is as American as apple pie as evidenced by the crews of public workers on any job site. Secondly, can your kid senselessly chew and spit sunflower shells in these other sports? Apparently, it’s quite the stress reliever from the pressures of…..having to stand around? 🤷‍♂️ Took me a bit to get use to it, thought the better teams would be the bigger beneficiaries but that’s not the case. It’s pretty much a 50/50 split between home and visitors.
  18. I don't think that baseball making steroids "legal" would do much to make baseball more "relevant". I think it would raise all kinds of issues that could make things worse, especially giving the sport a deserved rap for rewarding players for taking potentially dangerous drugs with long-term health consequences. I think the best way for MLB to regain "relevance" is to institute some kind of salary cap to increase competition as the NFL did. Wealthier owners/teams can buy their way to pennants and world championships because they can outbid less wealthy teams for FAs while teams without the ability or willingness to spend tons of money to bring in big time talent frequently become virtual farm teams for the big money teams: they find and develop young players but lose them when they become stars in their own right. Giving teams like the Brewers or Pirates or Padres real shots at winning the WS every once in a while because they have a similar talent level as the Dodgers or Yankees would really fuel interest in local teams and in MLB in general. Everybody loves a winner, and bandwagon fans are better than no fans.
  19. Honestly, I think the whole HR derby thing just makes the game even more boring to watch. I'd much rather watch guys raking balls into gaps, good gloves, aggressive base-running, big throws on plays at the plate, etc.
  20. Is that some form of an apology? 😂
  21. Well done! Just as I suspected…the only current players on the list are Josh Allen and Dion Dawkins. None on defense. Shows just what we’re dealing with on the current run to a championship.

  23. I still remember sitting in the living room listening to the home games on my little transistor radio. Then, anxiously waiting until the next Saturday afternoon to watch “Buffalo Bills Highlights” on Channel 7 to see the game from the weekend before. It was the only way for me to know what the game even looked like. And…it was free!
