That got me too. Hard Knocks is notorious for zeroing in on those cut moments. Bring your play book. I love how the Bills seem to have some nonnegotiables with the show. Look at Big Baller Bills calling the shots on HBO đ -
FEDERAL WORKFORCE TO SHRINK BY 300,000 From The Hill newspaper, By the end of 2025, the Trump administration likely will have shed around 300,000 workers, Office of Personnel Management Director Scott Kupor told Reuters on Thursday. The mass departures, which Kupor claimed were largely accounted for by voluntary buyouts rather than firings, would constitute a 12.5 percent reduction of the federal workforce from when President Trump was inaugurated in January. That percentage is a bit of an exaggeration as the Biden Administration went on a massive hiring spree as they headed out the door. So the 12.5 percent reduction will be down from an all-time high. Othewise, itâs so much winning. Reuters had reported earlier that 154,000 workers had taken the buyout offer. Reuters also reports that there are some 2,400,000 non-military federal government workers. https://www.powerlineblog.com/archives/2025/08/federal-workforce-to-shrink-by-300000.php

President Trump Cracking down on Crime in our Nation's Capital
Andy1 replied to B-Man's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
Has it ever been âsolvedâ? Trillions have been spent on the drug war, and hundreds of thousands imprisoned and itâs still a problem. And Iâm not saying donât enforce drug laws. Violent crime is the least it has been in decades: https://www.statista.com/statistics/191219/reported-violent-crime-rate-in-the-usa-since-1990/ -
For Sunday Night's Game in Chicago I am going to simply mail it in. No new cooking. Plain vanilla strategy. Going to rest my Natural Gas BBQ, Wood Burning Pizza Oven, Electric Smoker and Big Green Egg. Can't risk any injuries or breakage. Having a Hamilton Ticats @ Saskatchewan Riders Watch Party on Saturday Afternoon for the old vets from the Legion where I am going to deep fry 9 lbs of jumbo chicken wings in the peanut oil of my new outdoor deep fryer along with grilling foot long hot dogs and potato skins. Sunday's Bills game meal will simply be left overs. Planning for the Season Opener against the Ravens has already commenced. Last year for the Baltimore game I made BBQ Pit Beef which went over well. Thinking of doing some poultry that looks like a raven. I have noticed some funky looking chickens at the Afghan, Indian and African butchers. Going to settle on one of them and buy 4-6 of them to marinate and grill. May go to the dollar store and buy some fake black feathers to sprinkle around the BBQ while grilling them. The neighbour's adult son is a Ravens fan so I need to bring my A game of intimidation for this one. I already fly the THIS IS BILLS COUNTRY flag in the backyard 365 days/year so that he sees it as soon as he goes out his front door to his driveway. May start playing the shout song at full volume back there every time I see him in the week leading up to the game.

QBâs also threw more interceptions back in the day. Itâs tough comparing different eras of the game. -
No, I donât know much about the Bears, but do see a lot of complaining about their tackle situation. Their HC says LT in particular needs to resolve itself soon. I remember hearing the name Darnell Wright as a promising prospect so I looked him up: reports are that heâs regressed at RT and the three vying for LT (Braxton Jones, Ozzy Trapilo, and Theo Benedet) have all been underwhelming. Supposedly they were abused by Groot and Bosa today too.

"The swamp is in full panic mode," Kennedy said. "DC lobby shops are laboring fiercely to drive a wedge between President Trump and me, hoping to thwart our team from dismantling the status quo and advancing @POTUS' Make America Healthy Again agenda." "They're pushing the flat-out lie that I'm running for president in 2028. Let me be clear: I am not running for president in 2028. My loyalty is to President Trump and the mission we've started," he added, before he appeared to defend a longtime aide, his HHS deputy chief of staff. "Their attacks on my staff, especially Stefanie Spear â a fierce, loyal warrior for MAHA who proudly serves in the Trump Administration and works every day to advance President Trump's vision for a healthier, stronger America â are proof we're over the target. We'll keep moving forward, we'll keep delivering wins, and no smear campaign will stop us." "President Trump is delivering on every promise beyond my wildest dreams â ending war, protecting free speech, rebuilding American industry and the American middle class, delivering transparency and gold standard science, and breaking the grip of entrenched interests," Kennedy said. "The president has made himself the answer to my 20-year prayer that God would put me in a position to end the chronic disease epidemic â and that's exactly what my team and I will do until the day he leaves office." -

Thereâs a part of me that worries that is indeed how it ends up playing out. I have the same thought about our WR group to a lesser extent, and at least Allen compensates for that. Not so much for the D. So the fear is that it works and is semi impressive until one game, deep in the playoffs, it isnât. I hope of course this year is different and the team and our GM are willing to do try everything they can instead of relying on hope and vibes. Hope is for the fans. Results are for the professionals.
