  1. Past hour
  2. I have a sinking feeling this is the breakout game for RB TreyVeon Henderson that people have been expecting for some time now. With our difficulties in the run game to begin with and the possibility (if not likely possibility) that we're in rough shape along DT and LB - I'd expect a run heavy game plan from the Patsies. And Henderson's twitchiness and gaining speed could be a problem. I envision this being a game where we'll have to rely on Josh and the passing game more than we've had to in recent weeks.
  3. Drake maye can play But I'm with you, I fully expect the bills to come out and put this pats team down early (Although if you're a gambler, Allen and the bills have lost the first half against the spread vs the pats the last 5 games)
  4. One name from a long time ago from a small school was Phil Simms Was watching one of the post game shows today and the commentator was talking about Penn State struggles practically with passing and his exact words were "Penn St has paid a lot for these WR's!" The absurdity of a statement like that is wild, but it's the era we now are in. Waited as long as the could for the sake of the coaches jobs or for the good of the player?
  5. :: nervous laugh :: Yeah, about that…
  6. I mean, you're right. It's a division game & those can be weird. I'm just tired of the hype based on that Panthers game. I don't think they've earned quite the level they're getting this week. And I actually think there is no chance this Bills team takes this one lightly - it's their strongest division foe. If we beat them, the race is all but over, barring injuries or something strange - if we lose, it could be tight the rest of the way. If we actually lose this game, at home on a Sunday night - we might not be the team I think we are.
  7. The same Epenesa that made a critical play last week?
  8. They earned that respect, even if it is brief and isn’t certainly irrational. They, the Panthers, completely shut down the Falcons and moved the ball at will. New England went on the road and gave them the same treatment they did Atlanta the week prior. Now Buffalo isn’t the same standard but don’t overlook them like it seems you are. I saw earlier in this thread that you feel the Bills took the Saints lightly. Chance they may do that this Sunday? I actually give credit to the Saints defense. The offense wasn’t spectacular but their team made plays several times to keep them in the game. This Patriots defense is, in theory, better.
  9. Some more info is out. Reportedly, the delivery driver is 69 years old. So self defense with pepper spray and then a knife seems very appropriate (to say the least) if he was attacked by a 38 year old former NFL player as alleged.
  10. Yes. Beating Ill, a top 10 team at the time, 63-10 says so. Beating Iowa on the road the following weeks says so as well.
  11. Strong wasnt fully healthy Wed tho...even if he got a full practice. McD even said he was working thru the neck issue during Saints game. Same as TJ with knee. These injuries were aggravated somehow, but not new injuries. Basically we have Ingram instead of Strong for next 2 weeks. That's ok imo- just need Tre to step up more and stay healthy for a short stretch. Then we get Max back as depth week 8 imo
  12. Agree. That 2019 college season for LSU was bonkers. They didn’t really play any “scrub” teams during the second half of that season. Their final 10 games they played teams ranked in the top 10 a total of six times. Their other games were Texas A&M, Ole Miss, Mississippi State and Arkansas. The latter were the only poor quality team. Ending that year with Oklahoma, Georgia and Clemson who went a combined 38-5 is credit to how good they were. Blew the brakes off each of those teams too… That season is exclusively how Brady got back into the league.
  13. We'll that's two comebacks I left early. 😂 UB comes back to tie Eastern Michigan 24-24 with 50yd walk-off FG. They score a TD in OT1. EMU also scored a TD but goes for two and fails. 31-30 UB wins.
  14. must be assumed, they don't think logue is worth much more than our other dt options on p/s. plus oji returning soon ciarlo brings the s/t prowess, which will be 🔑 this week especially. Hairston will be back after bye, imo. Along with hoecht and oji. Need to squeeze out 2 wins and get some reinforcements
  15. https://www.yahoo.com/news/articles/fafo-never-hit-hard-college-200000258.html This defines liberalism, a man says words you disagree with and you physically beat him, but if a man is a human trafficker you defend him if he has the proper skin color. Anyone sticking by the Dems at this point is just just mentally ill
  16. https://nypost.com/2025/10/04/sports/ex-jets-qb-mark-sanchez-arrested-at-hospital-following-stabbing-incident-at-indianapolis-pub/ this link tells the story. I've never been stabbed stitches yes. Stable condition is good news. That's all that is good about this story imho
  17. So he inherited grandpa's genes instead of his pops? Yeah... the hype is over.
  18. Great, great FNIA interview with JA. Enjoy and go Bills!
  19. It really isn't worse, but when it happens you definitely hear about it more.
  20. Good on you for owning that. Many people wouldn’t.
  21. https://www.nytimes.com/athletic/6689578/2025/10/04/mark-sanchez-news-injury-stabbed-indianapolis/?source=user_shared_article Quote from The Athletic. The article mentions that police has reviewed video footage of the incident: Sanchez is accused of battery with injury, unlawful entry of a motor vehicle and public intoxication. Police said they arrested Sanchez at the hospital, where he remains. He has not been booked into jail, and the Marion County Prosecutor’s Office will make the final charging decision, according to police.
  22. Setting the edge is important but you can package things to stop the run. Sean and Babich like their 4 guys to rush the passer more often than not and like you said, is the contract matching up to production? Definitley not. Sacks are nice but disruption is just as vital. Pressure rate isn’t up to par for the contract. Think I read he has only 5 on the season. The silver lining is the defense is at the top of the league for pressure % and hurries without Groot….
  23. Man, I can't wait until Monday so the national hot-takers will get back to a rational assessment of this Pats team we're facing. Seems like a big win over the Carolina Panthers has really made some believers out of otherwise respectable analysts.
  24. No offense taken at all. I totally get what you're saying but that's how good I think we are. Buffalo was a couple plays away from losing to the saints. They got lucky with a roughing the kicker two games this year that kept us on the field and lead to points. I think (and it's just my thought) that sometimes first and second down offense is predictable. I mean Brady himself said he has lost sleep because of some of his play calling. We hear it all the time that Buffalo plays conservative and then relies on Josh becoming Superman. Man I really wish I remember the point in the game last week when the play by play guy said something like "this is a little too conservative don't you think?" and on defense they said Rattler just play faked to a player that wasn't even there, and it still worked lol. So that's what has me a little shaken. Messy defense and conservative game calling that will rely on turnovers or Josh at the end to be Superman.
  25. Says the person that has a reaction to every meaningless Trump tweet. We get “riled up” when it’s time to save Western Civilization:
