This is your admission that you spoke falsely when you said “most grocery items”. Happens a lot. -
I'm not ashamed to admit I've become a bit of a Swiftie in the past calendar year. Okay, that's a lie. I've become a HUGE Swiftie in the past calendar year. And this is coming from a guy whose all time favorites are the Grateful Dead, the Beatles, Dylan, and Pearl Jam. What can I say? This lady writes clever, singular, brilliant, beautiful music. This collaboration with Bon Iver is dope. Made all the more impactful in that it was recorded at the height of the pandemic, and the musicians couldn't be in the same room together.

For those saying “this is what we voted for…”
Big Blitz replied to stevestojan's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
He’s wrong but appreciate his concerns and he’s entitled to his opinion. Worth noting: “I want him to stop the wars. He’s funding them. I want him to shrink spending, reduce the budget. He’s increasing it. It’s like everything that he said he’s going to do, except sending immigrants back and now he’s even flip-flopped on that,” he added. Sounds like a guy itching to vote for the Socialist party. Lol. Welcome to the MAGA party Andrew. Also worth noting, every day isn’t election season despite how hard Democrats want to believe that. Especially with a guy that can’t run again it’s hilarious. -
It would be great if they could wear those at some point this season too. The white 64-65 throwback didn’t get officially dropped, they just stopped wearing them a few years ago. And just to note on the helmet announcement… because the regular jersey set is somewhat similar they may decide to simply wear the red helmet with them, rather than doing a full Kelly-era throwback set. The league announced this offseason that teams are allowed to have 3, or in a couple of possible cases, up to 4 different helmet shells / colors and that an alt helmet can now be paired with a primary jersey set. We’ll see if any of this comes to pass.

They are a tax on producers - who still need to sell you stuff at a price you’re willing to pay. They could be an indirect tax on consumers - who can just choose to buy something else. In 2025, options aplenty. -

No thanks, I’m not playing this game you like to use to deflect. Tariffs are taxes on consumers. T’was always thus, and always thus shall be. -

Bananas at Tops were 55 cents per pound. Now they’re 59. You are either not arguing in good faith or you’re flat out lying -
Glad to hear how you laid that out. This reflects the thinking of every compassionate, charitable conservative I know. Our money. Our choice. Our right. Where we take different paths is: I recognize that in addition to what I give, there is what I keep for things that are important to me. Retirement. Legacy. Children. Travel. Family. Once I earn the money, figure the charities I wish to donate to, and pay my taxes, I'm done with the dialogue. You, on the other hand, follow exactly the same path but then attempt to cloak yourself in righteousness by pointing the finger at everyone who should pay more, excluding yourself. It really just boils down to a lot of wealthy and really wealthy people talking a good game but never actually intending to participate. Nothing new here. Amen.
