Considering how low they pick you can basically dock them a round, so it’s really like a 2nd and two 3rds over 5 years. My main point is that you need to get lucky later on. Which we agree on and I think is your main point. I’m more so saying I don’t really credit Bean for this, it’s not like he made alternative investments that worked great! Another note is they basically take fast guys and Andy will figure the rest out later. We don’t do that. Not sure who is right there but Andy seems to have done well! Also, not sure our WRs have been better over the course of the 5 years, and I’m not sure they’re better this year if the Chiefs are fully healthy (although they might be).

There's a reasonable chance Keon and Kincaid end up as genuine plus players. If that happens, Beane's strategy will be vindicated, though I still think he should go after more WR talent early in the draft.

You’re using YOUR personal timeline, filled with people you chose to follow, with an algorithm tailored to pump matching content into your brain, as a litmus test? Probably the same place you got those numbers. For instance, how are there 54,000 new chapters if there are only 5,500-odd colleges in the USA? My timeline is full of people shocked at the attack on free speech, mixed with memes of Charlie that I can’t post here. The Dems have failed to do anything to stop the MAGA authoritarian takeover. No kidding they’re unpopular.

ANTIFA: Designated Terrorist Organization
SectionC3 replied to BillsFanNC's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
The thread title is inaccurate. Antifa, whatever that is, was designated as "A MAJOR TERRORIST ORGANIZATION," whatever that is. Not a minor terrorist organization. Not a terrorist organization. But "A MAJOR TERRORIST ORGANIZATION." This guy's marbles are long gone. -
United Health Care Exec Assassinated in NYC
boyst replied to JFKjr's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
Well, all I care about is him being executed. It's fitting. -
How TF do u keep saying this after what we witnessed the last 10 years?? Trump was spied on, prosecuted ad nauseam, fake impeached, deplatformed from social media, almost assassinated twice.... all because the opposing party didn't like him. Were you the least bit worried while all that was going on?
-
Whatever you say. My entire social media timeline (mix of NY and GA/SC) has people posting Charlie Kirk clips. People I’ve never seen say something political in my life. And because that’s anecdotal, I gave you actual numbers… voter registrations, vigils, church attendance, TP USA new chapters. You can play it off, but the Turning Point growth alone will have lasting effects.

We used a 1st rd pick on Keon Coleman. He just wasn’t drafted in the 1st round. we used a 1st plus other picks to land Diggs. You’re debating semantics. Looking for a hook phone. But there’s no loophole in logic. When the discussion revolves around the investment of draft picks the team has made into the WR position, you can’t remove Keon and Diggs for the discussion just because they weren’t actually drafted in the 1st rd by the bills. The bills acquired them by INVESTING first round picks. Thats the discussion. Don’t be stupid

Holy ***** you folks are arguing this like there isn't 1 simple truth. Kimmel wasn't drawing money the juice wasn't worth the squeeze. About 1.5mm people were watching him. It was just a good reason to cancel his show. The next one I'm curious will be Stern. But , he still draws money Sirius barely has but his demographic is all too old to make a dent. He is Imus. I was a mega stern fan when he was funny and liked Kimmel a whole lot too

It's amazing. I get the reaction to the abhorrent comments and glee over the murder made on social media. I don't begrudge private actors acting as they wish relative to those comments. ABC can to the same, I suppose. But, objectively, I don't think what Kimmel said merited ABC's overreaction. It was political commentary, and it's arguably true.

I think its a pretty big misnomer that the Bills havent invested in pass catchers. If you want to say they haven't invested enough high round draft picks than I guess I can listen to that. I realize they haven't invested as much as say the defensive line but they have brought in guys. Free Agents: John Brown Cole Beasley Emmanuel Sanders Jamison Crowder Deonte Harty Mack Hollins Curtis Samuel Joshua Palmer Elijah Moore Draft: Dawson Knox (Round 3) Gabe Davis (Round 4) Isaiah Hodgins (Round 6) Marquez Stevenson (Round 6) Khalil Shakir (Round 5) Dalton Kincaid (Round 1) Justin Shorter(Round 5) Keon Coleman (Round 2) Kaden Prather (Round 7) Trade: Stefon Diggs (1st Rounder) Amari Cooper(3rd Rounder) There are obviously other players that the Bills have signed that I didn't include but these are the main names over Allens 8 years. Its hardly impressive and I'd say there have been a lot of misses on this list as well. I think where people get upset is that they haven't spent a first rounder on a WR in the draft while they have had Allen outside of drafting Kincaid, a TE. The Bills have invested in the Wide Receiver position but I think you can say they have spent more time in the veteran pass catcher market than they have in the draft market clearly. I just don't think you can say the Bills haven't "invested" they just haven't invested in the way fans and media want them too by spending high draft picks on the position. This also doesn't include the fact that they have drafted Dawkins, Brown and Torrence, and invested decent money in McGovern for his offensive line as well as multiple early to mid round running backs for the offense. I'm not defending Beane a ton as they have failed on the Defensive line a lot and people want that money reinvested in pass catching but its not their philosophy.

This "switch" was flipped long, long ago. Kirk just exposed it. The right wants complete, authoritarian domination over the US. They have made it very clear that they will cheer on the suppression of any political enemy through any means necessary. They ignore the courts and laws. Trump is participating in open bribery with Qatar and UAE and no one cares. "Normies" have moved on. It's just you that are still screaming and flailing. What on Earth does Ben & Jerry's have to do with this

This Bills team is at peak maturity. This year and next are our best chances to reach and hopefully win the Super Bowl. Josh has reached another level with his mental understanding of the game. He’s reaching Brady levels of Zen. You don’t see Sugar High Josh anymore for more than a play or 2 in the beginning of the game. I don’t see them taking any team lightly even a dumpster fire like Miami. The only way Miami wins this game is if we have multiple turnovers. On D, they have a bunch of pass rushers trying to come back from season ending injuries. Our pass protection has been adequate but they can play a lot better. They have Dodson at LB so Shakir/Cook/Kincaid should absolutely feast on him. Their secondary is a dumpster fire. I’d come out and pass to set up the run but knowing Brady, we are going to come out and establish James first. I’d go all out run and shoot on these guys, let Josh cook. On offense, their offensive line is ASS, especially their right side. Bosa should have a field day. Maybe Rousseau will actually get a sack. I think McDaniel is going to spam Archane big time in the run and the pass. I suspect he’s going to try to run the ball a helluva lot more than he has in the last 2 games. I’d play the same style defense we did against the Jets. D-line slants one way or the other and keeps the LBs clean to make tackles. Take out Archane first, then Hilll, then Waddle who’s just collecting a pay check. They have no TE to worry about. This should be a double digit win. Our overall talent is better, our coaching is better, and Josh hates Miami so I expect another AFC Player of the Week. Fk Miami! -
well, besides, you know…
