Many times in games like this… in particular if the Ravens come out all jacked up and playing hard… is to get a stop and get past the first quarter without being down 2 scores. As others have said, that adrenaline and jam led up play doesn’t last the entire game. Just keep it close, be consistent and let them know all that emotion doesn’t matter. One aspect to the Bills offense I hope they can continue with this season is they rarely get in a slump. They don’t score every drive.. but they score every quarter. They just keep going. No matter how much you shut them down in the first quarter, most teams would find themselves in the 3rd quarter tied and thinking WTF happened.

I did see that and saw a piece on her when Jim Irsay passed away that she’s going to be front and center on the day to day operations of the team. Do you think it’ll last? or is it just like she elaborated when questioned about it; new ownership trying to see if the results are backing up the credentials (she wants to hear and see everything on game day)? Refreshing to see a completely left field way of doing it, even better when it showcases and owner concerned about the on field product as much as the revenues generated.
