  1. Past hour
  2. I've had lint with more pocket awareness than Geno
  3. Let's see if Geno can avoid the red zone pick
  4. I appreciate the passer rating and all, but I take our pass D stats with a grain of salt as we have faced the second least amount of passes in the league behind only the Browns, mostly because of our atrocious run defense. Our pass D may not be a glaring weakness, but it is far from an obvious strength imo.
  5. Listing ST guys bouncing around the league without a shred of irony is so so so good. a punter lmao
  6. Man, Dubya is aging exactly the same as his dad
  7. He always has drafted lots of NFL caliber players We used to be the last stop for NFL players... Our cut draft picks or not re signed are usually picked up ... He has lots of guys on Rosters What he hasn't really drafted is much pro bowl type players ... Lots of good , not lots of great cole bishop is saying hello now.. I really liked the draft pick and he looks like the light is on
  8. You are talking to the guy who was considering getting goats for his suburban home to simplify his turf management. The next time he identifies a pattern before the driving force has left tire marks on him will be the first.
  9. Just instincts. He has a great feel and intuition. It's the most important trait to be a great defensive back. Either you got it or you don't and it's looking like he's got it. Proud of him.
  10. It would be fine if this was like 1978
  11. I’m not sure I’ve seen much from Coleman to visualize his “high ceiling.” he exhibits poor spacing and body control effectively all the time. Is his ceiling high because he’s a generally good athlete and his skills are so unrefined that if he fixed them he might be really good one day? He’s probably a bit stronger than the average WR but also a bit slower and really lacks burst imo. I never saw the vision for what it’s worth. His range was Devin Funchess/Devante Parker-tier to me. But your point is fair, he didn’t ask to be the savior of the Bills WR room, that’s all on Beane.
  12. This is an awful Monday night match up
  13. He is very similar to Gabe Davis in a lot of ways with perhaps better hands, although Davis has made some spectacular sideline catches during his times here.
  14. Soooo.... Jealous! Good for you though! 🙂
  15. Yeah there are A LOT of people impressed with the Bills WR's yesterday but that is probably the worst pass defense they will face this season. Secondary in disarray and no pass rush to help them. When Dean went down Tampa was f#cked.
  16. Not sure if it’s worth bumping this thread over and over, but:
  17. I think the FG block penalty was atrocious but Alex Moore- the head referee is in his first year has done a phenomenal job
  18. Not saying he'll become as good by any means, and I hadn't thought of it myself, but as soon as I read just the title of the thread, I instantly thought, oh yeah, I can totally see that comparison. Something about the way they run, move, catch. Good call OP. And with coach saying, about Shavers, "No job too big or too small" for him...I wonder if that isn't a veiled reference as to why Keon is in the doghouse. Shavers did not attend the NFL Draft combine. So, there are only two official times for him for the 40-yard dash. At his pro day in college, he ran a 4.59. When he was recruited out of high school, his official time in the 40-yard dash was 4.38. Interesting that Stallworth had a similar situation with difference in timings. He was dealing with a hip pointer at the Combine and ran a 4.8 second 40-yard dash (in the rain). His only other known timing was by a Pittsburgh scout after his junior year of college, at which time Stallworth clocked a 4.5 second 40-yard dash.
  19. Starting with 2018, and only counting players who are still active: Tremaine Edmunds LB of course. Even OP acknowledges him. Harrison Phillips DT. Started 17 games for 3 years and all 10 this year for Vikes, 59-74% of the snaps. Vikes #5 D last year, 14-3 and in 2022 13-4. Solid. Siran Neal CB. Played 17 games for MIA and 11 so far for SF as a STer. SF currently 7-4 Wyatt Teller G. Starting for Cleveland at G since 2019. Has been to 3 probowls and 2nd team AP twice. Might remotely be any good. Ray Ray McCloud WR. Has played on 5 different teams since leaving the Bills, including 12-4 Steelers, Conf Champ and SB with the 49ers. Largely PR/KR Led the league in PR in 2021. Also saw significant WR snaps with PIT in 2021 and ATL in 2024. Ya kind of think he might remotely be good if he lead the league and played in 2 conf. champs and a superbowl. 2019 Devin Singletary RB. Solid year for HOU in 2023 with more yards than he had in B'lo. Currently playing for the Giants and his YPC has tanked. Cody Ford G. Started every game at G for Cincy in 2023, all but 1 in 2024, all so far this season. He ain't an all pro, but they haven't found better. 2020 Isaiah Hodgins WR. For a player who was not "Remotely any good" there was a lot of heartburn here when we lost him to the Giants on waivers. After an OK year in 2023, he lost playing time in 2024 and gained it back this year. Played a lot and had a decent game last Sunday. We'll see how he does now Daboll's gone Dane Jackson. Back with the Bills now. Played ~40% of the snaps for CAR last year in 9 games and 3 starts so they might have thought he was remotely any good 2021 Matt Araiza. P. Punting and holding for the Chiefs. Lots of heart burnings here about that. Nick Broeker G, Playing for Houston, mostly ST. All 9 games this season Alex Austin CB. Has been in New England last 3 seasons, playing ST and CB. Has started 5 games at CB in the last 2 years. That's 11 players besides Edmunds who were drafted by the Bills, went elsewhere, and saw significant playing time. Several STers, but when a guy is leading the league as an STer he might be above "remotely any good". 6 have been starting. I know, @BuffaloBillyG, there I go with the facts again
  20. Dak is sure playing like an MVP...
  21. Lynch was a sub-league average ypa RB each season from 2007 to 2010. It was fun watching him crash into defenders........but today we'd call him "game script" dependent. In his "pro bowl" season in Buffalo he was actually only 13th in rushing yards and just 25th in ypa with a pretty pathetic 6 yards per catch as a receiver. Despite high first round pedigree Lynch was only worth about a 3rd round pick(Buddy only got a 4th) It certainly wasn't ANYWHERE NEAR the value that a 21 year old 1100 yard 7 TD rookie WR would have today. Probably a first rounder-in-trade level short. So let's be realistic with our parallels. Had Coleman not gotten hurt he likely clears 700 yards as a rookie.......which would have been tremendous rookie production from one of the youngest, least polished WR in that draft. Beane f#cked up royally expecting him to be WR1. He was/is a project with a very high ceiling.
  22. Yep, been saying it for 5 years on this board he’s not a special QB from the pocket. He looks the part, but just plays better and makes the magic happen when he’s moving around… throwing on an improvised play or just taking off.
