This is the first I’ve ever heard that the concept of get married, stay married, and be smart with your money requires government oversight. Incredible. -
Yet our PFF D line rankings are: Edge - Bosa 5th, Groot 18th [Of 116]. Interior DL - Ed has the NFL's top grade for the Baltimore game, Daquan is 4th [of 119]. If Oliver is anywhere near 100% when he comes back, we have a stud starting DL.

We are saying the same thing then lol. KC losing is for the best. KC losing and they’re unlikely to be in the playoffs. If they win, both of these teams probably end up in the playoffs. I don’t think either is a threat to the 1 seed regardless. The Bills schedule is just too easy. Chargers are the only threat to the 1 seed and even that is a long shot. The Bills are -175 to be the top seed already!! That’s insane. -

First ballot HOF players playing now

I'm not necessarily defending Lynn Swann's inclusion, but I think people focus too much on regular season stats at the expense of the postseason when it comes to the HOF issue. In three consecutive SB games (all victories) - vs Dallas twice and then the Rams - Swann had 16 catches for 364 yards and 3 TDs. That's 22.75 ypc and he also deservedly won a SB MVP. That needs to count because it's coming against the very best competition in the biggest games. I say the same thing about Terrell Davis. He had an injury-shortened career, but in 8 postseason games he had 1,140 yards and 12 TDs plus a SB MVP award against the league's best competition in "gotta have it" games. Extrapolated to a 17-game season, that 2,422 rushing yards and 26 TDs. Think about that for a moment! Gilmore probably should have been MVP of the 2019 SB, so factor that in. He had a huge interception, three passes defensed, and forced a fumble in that game. He also won a DPOY award. -

Bills Defense, will it get better as season goes on

I try not to take TOO much stock in early season trends, especially with a weird divisional thursday game among the first 3 games. Clearly after week 1 they created a focus on preventing big plays, and the linebacker and safety play has been much improved. -

I had no idea a gridiron was a cooking apparatus until 30 seconds ago. I thought it was a football reference, and reading quickly missed the point. My bad there. As for the rest of your post, if I see any of the several people you see pretending to be who they are not, I’ll say hello for you. -

I'm just guessing. I was a little thrown by the pic as well. But best I can come up with. Makes enough sense for TBD discussion -
Why? Right now we have the second worst pressure rate in the NFL on base defense. Hard not to get better, but really good?

Really interesting about DBs... I went back through the last 10 years of All Pro rosters to see if there were names I was forgetting, and there just isnt anyone that stands out. Certainly not like a Rod Woodson or Ed Reed. Best I could come up with as DB is maybe Stephon Gilmore. Maybe Tyrann Mathieu. I think both are out of the league this year. Derwin James is the main DB name that is always around, but I dont think he's done enough to warrant HoF discussion. -
If they never sign OBJ he's still in Cleveland. Goff got to a SB, and remember the Rams traded him to be a "bridge" until they found their guy. Turns out, he is their guy lol. He looked fantastic last night. Herbert, well yeah I get the anti-hype, but season #2 with Harbaugh, he's going to be just fine, watch. LAC will only improve as the season wears on.

Then why would you have a multi day argument over something you don't even slightly care about? Either you hate weed or you hate not being right.

Those first 3 games were very important. First, you got a huge tie breaker over the team that looked to be the Bills main competitor for Home Field advantage and then you beat back to back division foes. Going 3 - 0 in these early games will matter big time at the end of the season.

I know Miami had a really high 3rd and 4th down conversion percentage but the bills D had 5 stops on 8 possessions. You'd like to see a bend-but-don't break approach get a couple of RZ stops which could make the score something more like 31-13. They allowed 200 total passing yards across 2 games in 5 days to division rivals. One was a week after the jets looked competent against pittsburgh. Yes the rush defense is ranked among the worst in the league. But they also played 2 mobile QBs in the first 2 weeks (2 of the 3 QBs to ever to rush for 1000 yards in a season). QBs are definitely more athletic than they used to be, but these are two of the ones who actively run read-option looks and do it well. The dolphins have a very fast team with achane, hill, and waddle - there were 0 plays over 20 yards in the entire game. To me that's a sign for what the bills schemed up in a game on a short week. They looked terrible against baltimore, but the last 2 weeks i think they've been fine. Oliver, Milano, and Hairston all missing. Tre and TJ have missed time and are banged up. Couple of suspensions too. None of those are season ending, and players can and will get healthier as the season gets along - so 7 players who either aren't playing or aren't playing at their best. I'd expect the unit to improve as these guys get healthy and integrated. Baltimore played without madubuike and van noy last night - and it created a noticeable difference in their ability to pressure Goff, and stop the run. They went right at his backup all game long. -

Bolded is why im saying KC for the loss. We dont know if that will be true for KC (could be the opposite and we end up needing to STAY a game ahead of KC). Agree if KC loses this week they are fighting for a WC spot. If KC win this week I think the division is still very much in play (and potentially the 1 seed cause they still get to play us). To your point I agree that BAL probably wins that division (even if they lose this week) and understand why you want them to get another L to keep them out of the 1 seed. KC is flawed but its not like they have looked inept. I could still see them figuring it out on defense and doing just enough to run back last years formula.
