Who do we want, who do we need as our next HC and, or GM?
Kirby Jackson replied to jaybeezee's topic in The Stadium Wall
If the Bills were missing Josh Allen for a period of time, injuries would be a valid excuse. That would even be true for Cook to a lesser extent. I think that Allen, Cook, Shakir and the entire have combined to miss one game (Spencer Brown). Kincaid has missed a game. We aren’t INT he situation that Baltimore/Cincinnati were/are in. -
I’m not questioning the signing, simply the reaction. We pick up a dude off the couch and half the fan base think he’s somehow going to turn a bottom tier defense elite. That was my point not the signing itself

I'm in the both camp but I also believe McD wants his Offense to slow score so I'll put him in there as well. Our QB after an MVP season seems different, often looking bored and with little enthusiasm, To be expected when you turn the most exciting QB in the league into a game manager. I expect Brady to be the seasons scapegoat and be let go after bowing out in the first round of the playoffs even though the Defense gives up 30. In the back of my mind I'm wondering who gets IR'd after this game, seems like every game we're losing somebody. Maybe mentioning that will make it stop.

Thanks HD. And McD's takeaway after this game is to point at the OC and players who, admittedly bear some responsibility. Yet, the HC refuses to admit his off-season plan with the GM was to ignore the offense save for replacing Cooper with Palmer has failed. Not much different than 2024's plan for that side of the ball. Using Josh this way is offensive malpractice. He's also not blameless, but the problems are further upstream. We're beyond the point where the underlying root cause of this organization is the guy who has the most pull.

Shakir isn’t even being used as a receiver. He's basically an extended handoff running back in this offense.

What a stupid f*****g question... If you are serious about getting answers on an issue important to you, why would you NOT contact them? Given all the nonsense that is typed here on repeat for years and years, it is pure laziness to not contact your reps on what matters to you as a voter... Unless of course you believe that being a US citizen is a spectator sport... You might be surprised at how receptive and communicative your reps and their staff can be... Just as it is telling when they blatantly avoid responding to particular inquiries after you develop a rapport with them... Citizens can make FOIA requests too...

I had sacks under my belt in the past. Just saying.

Democrats could have done this when Biden was in office, but didn’t. Now they can saber rattle because they don’t control anything. Just like Republicans did when they didn’t have the power to release anything. The hilarious part of all this is the Democrats selective release of material, with bizarre redactions meant to persuade people like you into going full Blue Anon, is all possible due to the GOP led House Oversight Committee working to get these documents. I’m entirely open to Trump getting bounced if he’s shown to have done anything. Give me a JD Vance Presidency for the next 3 years in a heartbeat. But the likelihood there’s anything in there damning to Trump beyond some peripheral namedrops isn’t very high. The Biden Admin had control of all this for years and didn’t do anything with it. Michael Tracey, who has done extensive reporting on this topic, should be a must follow for every lib .. but yall won’t. Because you just want your Russiagate adjacent hopium.

Agreed, I think it deserves its own thread like Kubiak. It’s buried on page 17 of this one and I suspect a lot of folks will miss it as a consequence.

This deserves it's own thread. It's really f'ing sad that the whole world can see these issues even going back to last year. And the with the arrogance of Beane, McDermott and Brady they just didn't seem to care.

Who do we want, who do we need as our next HC and, or GM?

Yea? Is it? Tell that so called "lame excuse" to the 3-6 Cincinnati Bengals who are missing QB Joe Burrow who started only two games this years and won both. Or the 4-5 Baltimore Ravens missing QB Lamar Jackson for several games. Or the 3-7 Washington Commanders who are missing Jaden Daniels. Or The 6-4 San Francisco 49ers missing QB Brock Purdy. Injuries matter! Injuries are not a lame excuse as they matter to all NFL teams. Some teams are better suited to deal with those injuries and some aren't. Teams with the most players on injury reports in 2025 (as of October 13): Rank Team Players on Injury Report 1 San Francisco 49ers 72 2 Dallas Cowboys 58 3 Buffalo Bills 57 4 Detroit Lions 56 5 Philadelphia Eagles 52 6 Washington Commanders 52 The Buffalo Bills #1 pick in this years draft was out injured for most of the season, It mattered and it showed when he returned!. #2 pick TJ Sanders has been out. #3 Landon Jackson is now on IR. CB Dorian Strong has a neck injury. The Buffalo Bills injury list looks like a MASH unit. The Bills lost starting TE Dalton Kincaid, starting WR Josh Palmer during a game and it mattered! Table - Injury report PlayerPositionInjuryWedThuFriGame Status Christian Benford, CBGroin--Terrel Bernard, LBAnkle--Joey Bosa, DEWrist the man is playing one handed and still a beast!--A.J. Epenesa, DEConcussion--Taron Johnson, CBGroin--Dalton Kincaid, TEHamstring--Cam Lewis, DBCalf--Phidarian Mathis, DTShoulderDNP--Josh Palmer, WRKnee/Ankle--Jordan Phillips, DTWrist--T.J. Sanders, DTKnee--Khalil Shakir, WRAnkle/Ribs--Shaq Thompson, OLBHamstring The Buffalo Bills are currently 6-3 because they have a good HC who is now calling the defensive signals and a good GM who keeps finding replacement players to sub in for the many injured. Some teams aren't as lucky. -
Thank you. This is a lot more convincing than Kubiak. And Simms was a better player at the QB position than position Kubiak, for what it’s worth. Watch the Chris Simms video in this thread at the top of page 17. It is to my mind more convincing than Kubiak.

TAM - 31 BUF - 20 The Offense gets semi back on track scoring 20. Josh will continue to look either frustrated or bored and blame himself after the game. The McDefense will give up 150 to whichever RB Tampa uses, it won't look any better vs the pass, especially on 3rd or 4th down. -
