  1. Past hour
  2. My feelings also during those dark years.
  3. I don’t suppose “he made hamburgers” is an option?
  4. They’re getting relentlessly torched from every angle over that cartoon, so clearly they’re using it for clicks. Ghoulish behavior on top of ghoulish behavior from everyone involved at that publication.
  5. A guy buys a cow for $60, then sells it for $70. He buys it back again for $80, then sells it again for $90. How much money did he make?
  6. Yeah I think in general the human mind like isn't built to be reflective and appreciate the past kind of thing in the current moment. I know before the AFC Championship Game last year I really got like no enjoyment starting a day after the Bills beat the Ravens. It was more just the feeling of anxiety vs being able to enjoy the game/season.
  7. It's indeed totally fine, but he's absolutely running full speed. You don't have a deep post called, notice that nobody's deep on the side you're running towards and nobody's going deep with you and think, "I'd better run slowly on this, let 'em have time to close on me, make the throw harder for Josh." He didn't misread the throw. He had a hard time going from a full sprint to adjusting to a throw in the most awkward possible direction for him. He had to get his feet not just ahead of him but also further towards the end zone so he could leap back towards the center of the field and the line of scrimmage at the same time. This forced him to run his legs ahead of his body, making a strange little curving path, but it was the fastest way he could adjust. There wasn't a way to do that quickly.
  8. Warner from age 31 to 35 had a really rough five year stretch. Then he seemed to find himself again with the Cardinals to close his career. He's one of the few that started his career hot. Was middling and often injured in the middle. Then finished his final few years like he played his first few years. Really odd career arch.
  9. NHL players get paid a fraction of what NFL players do lol The NHL commissioner is way way worse than Rodger goodell
  10. Now, heart breaking losses when they are really close to being able to win the SB, the bad years were easy. I get too caught up in the emotions and need to step back. I'll get back on it, but, its better to take steps back
  11. Ok, OP, well played. You know this type of data set for our boy is like catnip for us, and you will be handsomely rewarded with Lombardi Trophy emojis 🤩…myself included.
  12. you probably didnt include playoffs
  13. AND watching the 1986 World Series on BetaMax.
  14. yes, it counts to me
  15. I'm not sure how the original Twitter/X poster came up with his stats. I went to check on turnovers (per rajinka's post) and decided to look at TDs as well, but in a slightly different format. I did a TD per how many touches. After doing that (including passing/rushing attempts and receiving targets---all touches), I came out with Aaron Rodgers still being slightly ahead of Josh---if my numbers are correct (no doubt though that Josh will probably take the lead early this upcoming season). Bradshaw and Young also got a slight bump up on my TD list for whatever reason. Doc Brown mentioned Drew Brees, and Figster mentioned Kurt Warner, so I looked up those guys too, as well as Tom Brady. Brees came in at 18.5, Brady at 18.8, and Warner at 20.1 on my TD/Touch list. Just FYI. Anyhow, here is what I came up with for Turnovers and TDs per touch for the 8 players in the original post. Player Turnovers Per Touch Player Touchdowns Per Touch Terry Bradshaw* (TO every) 14.8 (touches) Aaron Rodgers (TD every) 16.71 (touches) Steve Young* 27.8 Josh Allen 16.75 Tony Romo 31.8 Peyton Manning 17.6 Peyton Manning 36.6 Steve Young 17.7 Josh Allen 39.9 Terry Bradshaw 17.8 Lamar Jackson 48.0 Patrick Mahomes 17.8 Patrick Mahomes 53.0 Tony Romo 18.1 Aaron Rodgers 57.3 Lamar Jackson 18.1 It really shows you how good Aaron Rodgers has been to be top of the TD list and bottom of the turnover list (surprising that has equated to only one Super Bowl appearance in 20 seasons). And on that note, it's interesting that 5 of those 8 QBs have a combined 2 SB appearances (as starting QBs), while the other 3 QBs have appeared in 13 combined Super Bowls...kind of shows that it is still a team game and how hard it is to actually reach a Super Bowl. [*For Bradshaw and Young (only), I could not find separate fumbles vs. fumbles lost lists. Not sure when the NFL started differentiating between a fumble and a lost fumble. So, their turnover/touch numbers may be better than they appear above (I assume back in the day a fumble was a fumble no matter who recovered it). However, if I include all of Josh's fumbles and not just lost fumbles (and he had a lot of fumbles that the Bills recovered), his number is still better than both of those older players. So the two players in question probably have slightly better numbers than are shown, but it wouldn't really affect their ranking. For all other QBs, I used fumbles lost stats, not total fumbles...because a recovered fumble is not a turnover.]
  16. Oh please neither of these, especially the Cleveland browns looking thing, get the fuh k off my lawn! 🤣
  17. Lol, Well said
  18. I'm not sure what's changed in the past few years with regard to his voice and energy levels, but... My wife and I went to see Paul a few years ago and the show was OUTSTANDING. He played several hours with no break. He played bass, guitar, piano, and obviously sang throughout. He played everything you'd want to hear from the Beatles and Wings. The show was everything I wanted it to be. I actually was in disbelief for much of it. I kept looking up at the stage and thinking "That's a ***** BEATLE UP THERE!!!". Not someone else covering Beatles songs, but an actual Beatle! It boggled the mind. Definitely go see him if you haven't and are a Beatles fan. The guy won't tour forever. It's a bucket list item. Price be damned. Just do it.
  19. Beatles fans are mostly drinking their dinners through a straw and watching re-runs of “Dallas” after craft time, correct?
  20. I feel like the current uniforms are pretty much perfection
  21. I feel like Alex Van Pelt wore number 10. Could be wrong, though.
  22. How is this happening??? These people are here illegally and most likely these are the ones tied to cartels. The Democrats would rather the government come after you for failing to enforce social distancing at your restaurant.
