What's the first position the Bills draft in 2026?
CNYfan replied to Cash's topic in The Stadium Wall
Bills were going to draft McBride, he got snatched a few picks earlier. They traded back twice and took Cook so it turned out ok -
I am not in the north east. I am in the southwest. I did research it while living in the north east and decided against it. Seeing what I have seen now that I have with rooftop solar, I would adamantly advise against it in the northeast. There is just no chance someone in an area like Buffalo would see a return on investment. You need multiple sunny days. My setup is something like 30-36 solar panels (forget the exact number) and a Tesla powerwall to skirt around the high priced electricity times. It produces enough to power my 3000 square foot house and an EV. Of course this is throughout the year. I save up credits in the less hot months and burn them up in the hot summer months.

HAHA I had a flashback to Risk too. Great game. I might still have it in the basement

Maxwell Hairston injury updates only please (no news yet)

That's wishful thinking. There have been many instances where a guy is looked at on the field and walks off or is helped off that ended up being a Torn ACL. As I said before in the other post, Reggie Ragland tore his ACL as a Rookie. No cart even going to the Locker Room. They looked at Von Miller on the field and allowed him to walk to the sidelines. Torn ACL. -
Bills First Rnd pick in 2025 draft: Maxwell Hairston - CB - Kentucky
BarleyNY replied to Simon's topic in The Stadium Wall
My friend tore his at a taekwondo tournament. I had just finished a fight and he came over to me. I knew he just fought and assumed he’d won so I asked him when his next one was. He nonchalantly said he was done. When I, assuming he’d lost, asked him what happened he reached down and wiggled his kneecap and said he blew out his ACL (complete tear). He showed zero physical discomfort. He said it hurt when it happened, but didn’t after. He had to withdraw from his match and (obviously) would need surgery so he’d be out awhile. That was it. I would have said to call the Browns for Newsome, but they lost Emerson to an achilles today. Bad day for CBs in the league - Dallas lost one for the season and NE lost Gonzales for a few weeks. Good day to have CB depth because judging by today they’re going to be scarce. -
I definitely agree with you on that. Like I said, i've been very vocal that I think he's toast. But I think less of what I would do and more of what I think they would do in situations like these. And if Hairston is lost for the year and they decide they want more than what they have underneath Benford and Tre as the next guy up on the Outside, I see them turning to Douglas. Whether you, me, or anyone else would want someone else.

Hopefully best available. Duh. We have a great front office that doesn’t ever let the roster be “bare” If you will. -

There are so many ridiculous TikTok videos out there that it's difficult to tell which ones might be parodies. This one, however, looks real. Even the tears look real. Yes, she's crying over an ad for jeans, and calling on the "good whites" to take action … like sending her money. -

The Chiefs missed their Khalil Shakir and their Keon Coleman counterparts for basically the entire season last year.

I am no expert, but that seems like a pointless drill too. -
Bills First Rnd pick in 2025 draft: Maxwell Hairston - CB - Kentucky

I know. That Thanksgiving I was only playing all-time QB. I took maybe 3 or 4 tumbles rolling out and one stretching for the goal line. I was hurting for days. There is an old phrase, and I don’t know the origin, but it states that "youth is wasted on the young." So true. You try to tell the kids that, they don't listen. I didn't either at that age. Older folks would tell me: "You'll learn, you'll see." I laughed it off. God they were right. -

After what we witnessed from Sul Douglas last year (who was already athletically limited prior to that) I have no interest in watching it again. I'd rather see them wait until October and throw a 4th rnd pick at a 2-5 team that's going to lose a guy to FA at the end of the year. -

Oh, he demonstrates it alright - by mocking you behind closed doors and grifting you for every dime and laughing all the way to the bank while you beg for crumbs. You’re not loved. You’re used and too dumb to know the difference.
