Judicial Insurrection: Activist (Marxist) Federal Judges
B-Man replied to BillsFanNC's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
The Orders Next Time By John Hinderaker A rogue Democratic Party judge in Rhode Island, John McConnell, ordered the Trump administration to continue fully funding the food stamp program, even though Congress has not appropriated the money to do so. The order, absurd on its face, is already causing chaos. The administration appealed the order to the First Circuit Court of Appeals in Boston, which denied the administration’s request for a stay of McConnell’s order pending the appeal. The administration then went to the Supreme Court with an application for an emergency stay. Yesterday, Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson (!) issued an administrative stay of McConnell’s order that will remain in effect until two days after the First Circuit rules on the appeal. Given the partisan composition of that court, the Supreme Court may ultimately need to stop the foolishness initiated by Judge McConnell. What we have seen over the last ten months–hyper-partisan district court judges trying to run the executive branch, by issuing blatantly unconstitutional injunctions, usually “temporary”–is unprecedented in our history. But the Democrats keep making up new rules, and Republicans have no choice but to play by them. Otherwise, Democrats will obtain a permanent, unfair advantage. So, for the remainder of his term, President Trump should appoint federal district court judges who pledge to issue similar temporary injunctions to block Democratic policies, next time we have a Democratic president. Unless the Democrats get a taste of their own medicine, they will shred the Constitution forever. https://www.powerlineblog.com/archives/2025/11/the-orders-next-time.php -
For those saying “this is what we voted for…”

They should only court Latinos. Latinos seem to be the only major voting base that is movable. Many that are legal support immigration measures and they will vote for either side based on the economy. The GOP will never win black people. Ever. Just stop trying. Focus on young black men where you can, but that’s the extent. The other groups are more or less insignificant and typically vote for government handouts. GOP tried courting Indians and now they’ve declared war on the GOP due to their stance on H1B visas. Trump proved they can win big on a populist message. Then he got in and decided he was going to be the President of Israel.. and while I think he’s been successful on foreign policy, he’s neglected the economy and is dismissive of his role in its current state. The GOP will never win by becoming the party of just “a little less” migration and “a little less” government handouts and “a little less” work visas. They were elected to fix the economy and fix the border. Literally the only major thing Trump gets some positive polling in is immigration .. and that’s with the media lying over and over about ICE detentions. They need to be the party of the working white class, legal Latinos, married women and learn how to outreach to young black men. Democrats are the party of everyone else, so I’m not sure why this is controversial. Politics is about winning. Neither side governs for everyone. -

Maybe the Republican Party could evolve their positions to make them more appealing to minorities? Embrace the demographics. -

Based on your username, you’re a boomer white who lived his life and doesn’t care what’s left for the younger generations. Equivocating and defending an article that implies demonization over white people simply pro-creating. Those like you will happily sell out the rest of us to live off you benefits, pensions, retirements and faux moral high ground. Pathetic. -
Thx. Appreciate the info.

Currently on pace for 42.5, likely gets a few more so I'll say 44. Unless he sits week 18, then probably 41 or 42. -

No. Don’t go with a service provider. It’s a scam. NYSEG is never allowed to charge more than whatever the current hourly rate for energy is, where as with service providers like Agway they can jack up your hourly rate as high as they want. They usually offer you a cheaper rate for a short period of time to entice you to switch to them. But then the rate will start to go way up until you are paying way more per KWH than what NYSEG is legally allowed to charge. We somehow got switched to a service provider years ago. No clue how. Our electric bills eventually ended up sky high and that’s how we found out we were getting our service through some other company and they were charging almost 3x more per KWH.
