This doesn't even account for his run defense which has also been stellar. Benford got a lot of criticism for his play early in the season, and he deserved it. But he deserves a shout out for getting back to his high standard of play and his contract once again looks like a steal. The future looks very bright with Benford and Hairston, whose respective skill sets complement each other very well.

Agree pass D has not looked good on the whole. But with Poyer organizing the back-end (spelled by Hancock), Benford trending up, Bishop emerging, Milano recovering, and Max Hairston back I think it could be pretty decent (At least until we have to put all of them in the box to stop the run!)

Heyward does this often now... I mentioned it elsewhere but I've been tortured by watching a number of Steelers games this season. They are terrible. NE and Indy literally gave them those games and they STILL almost lost those 2. But this behavior from Heyward has been going on all year, probably due to frustration because that defense gets bullied often and they think they're big and tough. Instead, they are old, tired, and past their primes and pride is messing with him I think. The dude gets bulldozed on a fairly consistent basis then gets up to get into someone's face because he is embarrassed I think. Not sure, but knowing you're a bowling pin just getting knocked over when you used to be a feared DL has to suck.

Did you see Tre White try to tackle Washington (kind of)? Business decision! I don't blame Tre one bit, but I respect Bishop for taking him on. Defense maybe can be solidly mediocre, which might be enough if the offense gets it together.

I see a fat B word standing over Allen running his mouth while Allen is still on his back. Josh probably called him a mean name and he responded typical of someone with an IQ hovering around 50. Got held up by his ankles and robbed of his lunch money, but he couldn't catch Cook so he's taking it out on Josh.

Yup. It’s Taylor, CMC, Gibbs, Cook, Bijan and Saquon in the down year. Those are my top 6. Hard to say who’s out but it would be Saquon given this years performance. Dont think you can remove any of the other 5 for top at the position for 2025.
