  1. Past hour
  2. Maryland "blue laws" restricted business operations on Sundays. Even baseball and football had to wait until 2:05 to start. Of course, that's so long ago Baltimore was still in our division. I wonder how many people got arrested at that home Miami game on Monday night?
  3. Today
  4. i think it was something to with Maryland laws on Sunday. Orioles always had late starts too
  5. The long bomb is just not his strong suit. He hits one every now and then. But more often than not, he just misses over or under. He can throw it a mile, but he's never really gotten down being able to throw it long accurately with any sort of regularity. Luckily, he makes up for that by being an absolute beast in practically every other facet of his game. It's not dialed up often by Brady because of that fact. They're low percentage throws.
  6. It became very low success rate when they changed the rule eliminating overloading one side. I'm fine with allowing it to be declared in the 3rd quarter. That won't change player safety. I just don't see the need to make it a more successful play. It should be a desperation play with low success rate. With all that said I hate the new kickoff rules anyways. I would go back to the way it was. In that format you could do a surprise insides kick anytime you want.
  7. "This administration is holding Harvard accountable for fostering violence, antisemitism, and coordinating with the Chinese Communist Party on its campus." I guess I read it wrong or maybe she should've been more clear as there's too much ambiguity in that wording. Is she directly accusing the president and higher ups of Harvard for knowingly being in cahoots with China by knowingly letting their Chinese exchange students steal intellectual IP for the CPP? If that's the case they better have some solid evidence. It can also be interpreted (and I guess this is where I'm at now) that Harvard doesn't do enough to police the Intellectual IP theft in their research labs. If that's the case, just say that. My guess is this will get shot down in the Federal courts pretty quickly.
  8. The last song I posted from "The Lightning Seeds" got a couple likes so here's another one from them.
  9. It's going to be a very long 3 and a half more years for you. You get triggered every single day and have to find incredibly sad ways to convince yourself that you're on the winning team every, single, day. You've just become a sad clown.
  10. The moment Stewart Skinner lets in a goal, the Oilers are in trouble. 3-4 record in these playoffs. In the 4 losses, he's let in 20 goals. In the 3 wins, all shutouts. Game 3 back in Edmonton Sunday afternoon.
  11. Notice where the cult operates - they can’t acknowledge a single red flag. To do so would shatter the illusion they’ve been fed. Admitting even a sliver of truth risks unraveling the entire web of lies, fear, and identity they’ve built their loyalty on.
  12. Come week 1 of camp he usually looks like he is.....
  13. You know you CAN delete your own threads that you, and only you, started. on the text that reads exactly like this, "Moderation options". Then click on the text that reads exactly like this, "Delete thread".
  14. Yea, I’ll be labeled TDS. On the larger issue, why isn’t anyone asking why?
  15. Like Draconator, our jackabee was named at the shelter. Garth. We decided to keep it. The lady who named him said she was on a country music kick that week. For a jackabee, he has the true coloring of a beagle. Except his ears are shorter, is legs are longer, his eyes are more almond shaped, he's not as broad in the shoulders and he's thinner. He was about a year old when we got him. IF we took him to the dog park for an hour, he'd be at a full sprint for 55 minutes. He'd want to chase, or be chased by the other dogs. And fast. the other dogs couldn't keep up. Well until the day someone brought in 2 Italian Greyhounds. After chasing them for 10 minutes, he stopped and looked at me and I could hear him saying, "did you see how fast they are"? I used to say, "he was listed as a stray at the shelter, but I know what happened. Where ever he lived he got out one day and just started running. By the time he stopped, he looked around and said, 'where the hell am I?'. He's 10 now so not quite as fast as he was, but he still has his moments. If I had had the time, he would have been great for the dog Olympics, where they do the obstacle course.
  16. Around the Horn was good 15 years ago. Not a fan of the selection of talking heads they had on more recently.
  17. For a split second, the Knicks had a chance to do the exact same thing the Pacers did in game 1......down 10 with two minutes to play and they cut the lead to 3 with possession and a chance to tie, and they could not convert. Stick a fork in this series.....I don't think the Knicks will get swept, but getting swept is more likely than the Knicks coming back to win the series, IMO.
  18. I love this song. It's a bit old (2021), but I really like it. ]
  19. Nothing like embracing the chaos they voted for.
  20. At least it wasn’t a record, only been 110 yrs. since someone gave up 13 in the 8th. Still watching? What a game. Doing it old school here listening to it on the app and it sounds entertaining.
  21. Andy, your “TDS” is showing!!! But seriously, it's totally normal to dismantle the National Security Council - the main body that coordinates national security and foreign policy for the President. At this point, it’s not even subtle. We have a traitor in the White House. And everyone still denying it is just helping bury the truth.
  22. Other than some empty words about being tough on Russia, he has acted consistent with the interests of Putin. All his staff with personal contact with Russians, his many private calls with Putin, meetings with Putin surrogates, dismantling US cyber security, firing people involved in cyber defense of our elections, etc. That’s all not by some odd random chance of coincidence. If it acts like a duck, walks like a duck and quacks like a duck, it’s an orange traitor duck.
  23. 4.45, 4.50, 4.52 while not being slow, isn't what i'd consider "fast" either. If 4.61 is turtle show, a tenth of a second faster isn't blazing. Hairston - that's fast. You think he didn't know his timed speed was 4.61 when he Drafted him? Like Beane's a GM that had to Draft someone at 4.61 to determine whether or not it would work? If Beane knows "he blew the pick" and was sure Keon Coleman is incapable of taking a step in Year 2, he'd have done something more than just replacing Amari Cooper and Mack Hollins with Josh Palmer and Elijah Moore and not Drafting a WR until UDFA Camp Body territory in the 7th. Honestly, I wish he did think he blew the pick as you imply. Maybe he would have tried to get Metcalf.
