We are not their friends. Slap a 200% tariff on them. AfD classified as extreme-right by German intelligence Germany's Alternative für Deutschland (AfD) party has been designated as right-wing extremist by the country's federal office for the protection of the constitution. "The ethnicity- and ancestry-based understanding of the people prevailing within the party is incompatible with the free democratic order," the domestic intelligence agency said in a statement. The German foreign ministry defended the decision after US Secretary of State Marco Rubio called the move "tyranny in disguise" and Vice-President JD Vance said the Berlin Wall was being rebuilt. The AfD came second in federal elections in February, winning a record 152 seats in the 630-seat parliament with 20.8% of the vote. Earlier this year Alice Weidel embraced the term "remigration", widely seen as meaning the mass deportation of people with a migrant background, although she rejected that definition. The AfD also attracted the support of leading figures in the Trump administration. Nine days before the election, US Vice-President JD Vance met Weidel in Munich and said there was no place for "firewalls", alleging that free speech was in retreat in Europe. Tech billionaire Elon Musk gave Weidel a long audience in a livestreamed chat on X and called on Germans to vote for the AfD. He then repeatedly posted his support for Weidel's party in the run-up to the election. On Friday JD Vance posted on X that "the AfD is the most popular party in Germany, and by far the most representative of East Germany. Now the bureaucrats try to destroy it." He also accused the "German establishment" of rebuilding the Berlin Wall - a reference to the barrier built in 1961 to separate East and West Berlin during the Cold War. US Secretary of State Marco Rubio said the decision taken by the German intelligence agency meant it had been given "new powers to surveil the opposition. That's not democracy - it's tyranny in disguise". This prompted a rare retort from the German Foreign Office. "This is democracy," it posted on X. "We have learnt from our history that rightwing extremism needs to be stopped." https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/cwy6zk9wkrdo But Putin!

All the commies Obama and Biden hired - gone…. Trump plans major downsizing at U.S. spy agencies The CIA plans to cut 1,200 positions, along with thousands more from other parts of the U.S. intelligence The Trump administration is planning significant personnel cuts at the Central Intelligence Agency and other major U.S. spy units, downsizing the government’s most sensitive national security agencies, according to people familiar with the plans. The administration recently informed lawmakers on Capitol Hill that it intends to reduce the CIA’s workforce by about 1,200 personnel over several years and cut thousands more from other parts of the U.S. intelligence community, including at the National Security Agency, a highly secretive service that specializes in cryptology and global electronic espionage, a person familiar with the matter said. The person, like others interviewed, spoke on the condition of anonymity to discuss sensitive matters. The specifics of the planned cuts have not been previously reported. The CIA does not publicly disclose the size of its workforce, but it is believed to be about 22,000. It is unclear which parts of the spy agency would be most affected. The downsizing is happening even as CIA Director John Ratcliffe has pledged to target more agency resources on China and on cartels smuggling fentanyl and other synthetic drugs into the United States. https://archive.is/7T5r2

Elijah Moore Visiting the Bills today (Update: Signed!)

Im not even sure it’s a Bills pro scouting issue. If a WR in their prime is in free agency, they just aren’t that good. The only players I could find in the last 5 years who outproduced their best season on their first contract team(s) are Jakobi Myers, Christian Kirk, Kendrick Bourne and Robbie Anderson (Chosen). What a list. Draft and develop WRs instead of paying mid tier money to a free agent is the way to go in the future. I hope Palmer or even Moore can be a great WR but I don’t expect much out of either of them. Shakir, Coleman and Kincaid are our best hopes of improvement in the passing game. The others are simply to have enough bodies to throw out there and occasionally make a play like Mack did. -

It seems to me that the Browns wanted to keep him. You don't throw a UFA Tag on a guy that would make it so that he'd have no choice but to play for you if he were still available by a certain date if you didn't want him on the team. -

Bishop definitely isn't a proven starter at this point. But he's also almost 100% making the 53, given the recent draft investment. So he'll be given every opportunity to win a job over Forrest and Hamlin. I think reliability rates higher than max-ability for McD's DBs. Bishop needs to greatly improve his coverage fluency to start. His blown deep assignments were an unusual sight in the Bills defensive backfield last season. A lot of fans are discounting the role of STs in final DB roster decisions, especially as it pertains to Codrington. He's competing with Hardy, Shenault, Shakir, Samuel, Hamler, etc., for the punt returner role, but he's the current favorite. Can Strong, Hairston, or Hancock return punts? What about Moore (or how about Coleman reprising his college role)? I genuinely don't know. -

He's had over 100 targets the last two years though so those yards aren't that impressive when he did about the same with the Jets on less targets. I don't see him getting 100 targets here. Character concerns scare me with this guy. He forced his way off the Jets and based upon recent reports he wasn't happy in Cleveland's offense either. Two teams invested a 2nd round pick in him and he only played for those teams for two years. I know it's the Jets and the Browns but still. Both seemed to have no problem moving on from him. I think if teams thought he has the potential to be a Superstar we wouldn't be able to get him post draft for such a low base salary. I'll be interested in seeing the contract details to see how much dead cap we would eat if he doesn't make the roster OJ Howard style. -

I don't think Elijah Moore is going to be a Superstar. But I don't think he's being asked to be one either. He's a guy we're paying a few million dollars to be our WR5. You talk about Mack Hollins' floor being Jake Kumerow. Elijah Moore's floor is more than that. He's been pretty consistent in his yardage outputs: 2021 - 538 yards 2022 - 446 yards 2023 - 640 yards 2024 - 538 yards Is he someone i'd want starting and think is going to take us over the hump? Absolutely not. But I think for the role he's being asked to play - his 4 years in the league have shown more consistent production than a lot of the names you listed. The truth most likely lies somewhere in the middle of the take that he's one of the worst WR's in Football and the takes that he's some great untapped talent that Josh Allen is going to unlock into a Superstar. I hope he can provide some plays for us when he's called upon. But I'm not getting too high or too low on him. He's a 3.5m, WR5 for us, who's averaged 540.5 yards though 4 seasons in a larger role than he's being asked to be for us. -

To me this was the peak of the drought era. I also met my first TBD poster in a crap bar in Kalamazoo Michigan for this game. If you're still here I don't remember your handle, I was formerly Kzoomike. We had so much talent on this roster. -
