Yes I was also born in the 80s and we are pretty close in age from talks we've had in the past. My earliest memories are also the Bills Super Bowl runs. The 80s and 90s are my wheelhouse but I also have an appreciation for stuff that happened in the 60s and 70s. The world is a much different place than it was back then and I really miss it

If we beat the Bengals, we’re winning the AFC

A lot of reshuffling is about to happen over these last weeks. I don't mind peoples optimism. Nor do I mind their pessimism. Good to have some balance IMO. Personally, I am not going to get too high over beating the Steelers. They aren't that good on either side of the ball. Bengals are at least good on one side. Pats arent great on either side but they are good on both. Browns are good on one side. Eagles, I dunno what the hell they are TBH. Then there is the Jets; a garbage team that would probably hope to lose for a better draft pick. I think the one seed is out of reach. I also think the division is close to out of reach. The way the games this week went, has me at least confident we get into the playoffs now though. Anything can happen in there. -
Dawkins is considered a top tier LT in this league. Not elite, but in that next group. Tackles typically play well in their mid 30’s and Dion is 31. Teams are desperate for OL help and high picks bust all the time. With Aaron Kromer here and drafting/developing OL being, perhaps, the biggest strength of this FO, I’d be willing to hear offers and I think a 2nd for a top tier LT on the backend of his prime sounds right. We’d never do it though. Hes a Bill for life.

Like many here, I really like what I see from Bosa. He's talented and tenacious. The issue becomes what you have to pay to resign him and potentially deal with the torch and pitchfork crew (me included) calling for your job because you overpaid or didn't get the value you hoped for.

Id say if they beat the Bengals and the Pats, with no more bad health news (which would mean health is improving) I will definitely start to really picture them running through the AFC. Right now, I just see a 1-dimensional team who probably cant have everything go their way 3+ weeks in a row. They have to be able to run the ball and chew clock to win. If a team stops the run and/or starts a track meet, the Bills are in a lot of trouble. Beat the Bengals and Pats, that is 3 games in a row, including 1 against the "top" team in the conference off their bye week on the road. I could then picture them winning enough playoff games against the current AFC field -
Biggest difference between me and my 80’s born Bills fan kids, all boys, is all the awesome Bills attire and stuff that they got to grow up with. We had basically zilch growing up in the ‘60’s and ‘70’s.

Myles Garrett vs. Joey and Nick Bosa

Lol... wut? Where are you hearing this "rumor"? I've never seen anyone say that. Even from randos on social media that try and make stuff up. -
Odds of Wild Cards meeting in the Super Bowl could be high.
Gregg replied to Max Fischer's topic in The Stadium Wall
I don't know about that. I think at this point KC misses the playoffs. -
Agreed. If Bosa gives us a team friendly deal because he loves the culture, great. But particularly these one year deals are signed by the player so they can use it to get a bigger contract the next year. That's the trap. At this age, he's great as a one year rental but would not be great on a multi-year deal. What they need to do is go out and find the NEXT Bosa...a player who is great and a free agent...but whose recent history means they sign for less and will work on a prove it deal.

No one's angry my man! I thought the original "McD Haters" thread was funny so made the counter point to keep discussion lively. Really ruffled some feathers with my sacrilege because the McD "apologists" apparently take this way more seriously than the "haters"! But it isnt about me. For all the folks Ive so deeply offended, here is the original... I see that as well, and could see him going to Miami.

Kill Everybody --- Illegal Order?

I flat-out quoted a section from the law explaining why it’s illegal. Most Americans don’t know where Idaho is. -
At this point I’m willing to kick the tires on anything to help improve the WR corps. He was good in Carolina and didn’t get much of a chance in Minnesota this year

Posts like this make me wish there were a confused, eyebrow raised emoji. I don't get this post. You don't think McDermott will be fired. But you're asking what McDermott apologists will say when he eventually is fired? If he is eventually fired without a title - what does it matter what McD apologists say and think? Why is it a poll? What made you so angry today of all days that you felt the need to post it?

How will you feel if Patriots lose tonight? Seems far fetched...but who would've thought the Broncos Commanders game would go to overtime. Also heard something about Pats having O-line injuries. Also, I think the chances of winning the division are better than they were this time of year 2 years ago. -
Damn, no game ball for Bosa, I'd say he was a big part of those 2 turnovers recovered by Benford, the fumble and getting Rodgers out the game

Well, Allen has stated the Tom Brady is the QB he idolized as a lad 🤷🏼♂️

AFC Division winners do not impress me as true contenders: Denver, Indy/Jax/Hou, NE, BAL,PIT,CIN Out of that mix, the scariest possible division winner would be CIN, because they are like a video game team that can score at will when healthy. If their defense can force 2-3 punts they will be in every game with Burrow. But none of the other likely AFC division winners scares me at all. I still think it will be BUF/KC in the AFC Title Game in Highmark, as it should be. -
Around the League - Week 13 (no Bills stuff in this thread please)
Gregg replied to Simon's topic in The Stadium Wall
The Jets have so much draft capital these next two years they will be able move up and get the QB they want. They have 8 picks in the first two rounds including five 1st Rd draft picks and three 2nd Rd picks over the 2026 and 2027 drafts. If Mougey hits on those picks, then they will be a problem for the rest of the AFCE. Of course, they could mess it up which is the Jetsy thing to do.
