Then you're going to have to live with results like this the rest of Allen's career. He has fewer years ahead of him at this level than he does behind him, and this style of ball has never worked. I don't see any way it which it's suddenly going to lead to a championship as he ages into his 30s and loses the ability to scramble at a world class level, extend plays by dodging defenders in the backfield, and eventually a loss of arm strength. It's possible these things are already happening. If Allen can only win "his way". Then he'll join guys like Warren Moon, Dan Marino, and Philip Rivers who always gave their team a shot, put up gawdy numbers, but ultimately were never really threats to win it all. I sure hope he figures out how to play championship football instead.

Because the Bills committed offensive pass interference. It was flagged and had Allen hit him it would not have counted and we would have faced a 4th & 16. -
Completely agree on that one play. And I don’t advocate him taking snaps from Davis. Gabe almost mossed Stingley in a huge moment of his foot comes in a foot more inside. Shavers had a great game by our standards last week. Nothing this week. Can JA salvage the back shoulder throw with Keon? They throw it because it’s a chunk play against pressure instead of constant tunnel screens.

It's true otherwise they wouldn't have posted that. More reason to fire McD after the season is over if we don't reach AFC Title game. We're not gonna reach it though. He should be gone. Not sure if upper management has the balls to fire him. -

I thought this team doesn't have any talent according to people? It's Josh Allen and 51 bums He should at least get on the bums I want to see fire -
I think the All-22 on this one is going to show an offensive line that was giving up pressure very quickly (especially the RT), and WR not getting open down field against sticky coverage. Definitely not getting open in time where Allen could throw it down field before he was pressured. Maybe we should have run more, idk. Houston seemed to be for the most part shutting that down as well. I think basically all of Allen's completed passes (except maybe one to Davis?) were less than 10 yards in the air. So actually he only took the easy plays, and for the most part Houston shut those down too. The heroics were a great player trying to manufacture something out of nothing. Basically the same thing that happened in the second half of the Dolphins game. This offense is broken, and I don't think it's really on the QB (who coming into this game was top 5 in basically every normal stat and fancy efficiency stat and is the reigning MVP).

Nah not buying this And neither are the players tbh. Pry sure the vets stopped listening to the messaging after 13 seconds. They'll win games on talent and because they're professionals but until we get rid of McDermott there's a hard cap on the whole operation -
You can want that all you want but that’s not who Allen is. Allen did a few times take what the defense gave him. It lead to punts. They aren’t going to march 80 yards down the field 2 yards at a time.

There was a 1st half play when the Bills were backed up against their own end zone and Allen connected with a 22 yard pass to Davis on 2nd & 10 at the 5. On that play, Allen threw the ball BEFORE Davis had stopped and turned back to make the catch. It was a nice throw and routine play by the WR who drove the single coverage guy back with an aggressive push downfield before coming back to the ball. It was clear to me that Allen would not have trusted Coleman to make the read that Davis did, to push hard downfield and then stop and come back to the ball. This is why Coleman is not on the field.

Is watching the Bills fun for you these days?

After the AFC championship last year I was officially done with McDermott. Especially after seeing the eagles defense vs the chiefs in the sb....Everything that's happened isn't really that surprising if I'm being honest. I think they could go on a run but man.... I just don't know if they have the horses. The drive right before the half was pathetic. It was absolutely ridiculous.... Seeing a pass rush like tonight is something I have never seen in 9 years under Brandon Beane & McDermott. Allen was bad tonight but there's just no consistency overall. -

This is gross. Dawkins whole schnowman shtick doesn’t hit when he’s playing like that. -
Division is out at this point…have to do it as a wildcard

Nah. Always make the playoffs regardless of the coaching crew and players. We have what we have. Do some of y'all realize how difficult it is to get into the playoffs? Before Josh Allen, we were in a 18 year playoff drought. 18 years. We don't want to miss the playoffs unless Josh Allen is out. -

No offense but when your quarterback is getting paid $350 million dollars it always falls on the quarterback For 50 years the quarterback gets the glory and he gets the criticism If your team doesn't look up the play it's on your franchise quarterback to get them up I've seen Peyton Manning screaming at Hall of famers because they weren't playing up to his standard.. Josh has earned the right to hold players accountable That is the truth Peyton Manning is a gold standard Josh should follow that.. doesn't make you a bad teammate.. if you hold people to your standard.. You're a bad teammate if you scream at people and you don't have a standard Josh honestly lost all his leading fire as soon as we traded for diggs.. who became a vocal leader And Josh has been quiet ever since.. I'm 100% for Josh getting fire back and holding people accountable because he is one of the few players who has earned the right to do that -

Bosa needs to take a game or two off and get healthy. It’s comical we haven’t done that yet as his wrist has him rushing with one hand. But we can’t rest him because we decided to pay Rousseau 20M to be tall and look like he’s good at football. -
I can hope can’t I? Better than just excepting some wr coach that no one has ever heard of taking the reins or something. The one play they kept two backs in the backfield and Allen was still sacked in like a second.

I didn't see a whole lot of pressures either. As I think you pointed out earlier, there isn't one difference maker on this defense. In fact the only guy who might be getting their is Bishop. And after Allen & Cook there isn't a difference maker among the skill players on offense. And while I think Kincaid could be a difference maker he's missed to many games and when he's healthy the McD/Brady offense doesn't even have him on the field for half the snaps. -

I mean at the end of the day Tom Brady would chew out players and so would Peyton Manning You follow your leader which is your quarterback I'm not blaming Josh... We've all seen this team doesn't rise every week compared to what it's sometimes does against a big time opponent Sean McDermott has been the same guy for 9 years.. he is consistent Josh gives us way more ebbs and flows.. I understand the grind of a 17 game regular season with postseason and even Tom Brady didn't wake up 17 times If Josh is saying they wanted it more he also means it includes him.. not that he's the problem When Josh has the troops riled up... You usually see a different team This was a short week on the road a great defense.. maybe the bills don't care if they have to play the Patriots in the postseason because they think they're going to wake up for that and they're not worried enough one game take all I'm just spitballing... Because we have to hope -

Bosa, AJE and Rousseau combined for zero sacks. Anderson and Hunter had 4.5 sacks. Difference between flashes and production. -

You won’t get any arguments from me that Beane has failed to find difference makers. I was screaming for Troy Franklin when we took the JAG Dewayne Carter. He’s also missed too many times on free agency and a few guys have bad contracts we need to shed. -
I was at the game and let me tell you what was happening downfield

For reference, the cap is expected to be between $295-$300M. Not great, Beane.
