And he's gonna get fined and I'm sure refs are going to "miss" calls for the pats next week because of it. -

Debate Over: Drake Maye can’t hold Josh Allen’s jockstrap
BADOLBILZ replied to Einstein's topic in The Stadium Wall
Yeah @Einsteinis being hyperbolic but I think you were a bit of a prisoner of the moment in your take though. There are things for Patriots fans to be concerned about with Maye. Going back to UNC sometimes the moment would get to big for him. On the hoof he should have been the #1 overall pick but he might not have everything that Mahomes/Allen/Burrow have. He might be that next tier. I watched every snap of his rookie year and was miffed at some of the things he did. In a late season game against the Chargers he took 2 sacks on 4th down. That kind of stuff may happen once in a decade to Tom Brady or Patrick Mahomes. And that's the level Allen is on. I'm not sure Maye will ever get there. Doesn't mean he won't be a stud but with all the one year wonder QB'ing we've seen recently(Stroud, Daniels for example) I think we gotta' let it play out before we crown Maye as elite. -

This is so soothing. Maybe I’ll get some hot chocolate and a blanky and just watch this for hours. -
Honestly, Teef, I don’t care one little bit what he implied or didn’t imply. I just don’t. Like I’ve said a million times over, when someone gets viciously attacked like Trump has, they have the right to strike back, regardless of what job title they hold. Reiner called Trump, Hitler. Was that true or doesn’t that count?

Apropos of this note, I thought you might appreciate this Dave Portnoy (Barstool Sports; Masshole) clip that he posted right after the Pats went up 21-0: .

Debate Over: Drake Maye can’t hold Josh Allen’s jockstrap
PatsFanNH replied to Einstein's topic in The Stadium Wall
Technically for a half Allen couldn’t make any plays.. I have no idea how great Maye will be, I do think he will be top 5 because he can make all the throws and do it under duress.. can he do it consistently or in the last 2 minutes? we don’t know yet.. he is young and still learning and yesterday I blame 100%!on the D.. you need make at least a couple stops in a half no excuses no Bull about refs etc they need to make stops.. IMO it’s unfair to ask a 23 yr old to go toe to toe with the reigning MVP and just beat him blow for blow.. (mind you their stat lines were scary similar 199 yards to 155 yards 3 TD to 2 TD (rushing for Maye) ) I would say 98% of the NFL QB will lose whe their D can’t stop the opposing D even once when it mattered in a half.. (closest they came was the 4th down PI completed pass that was sus lol) -
This is one of the more ridiculous moments I can remember from an NFL coach: Lost a lot of respect for Vrabel with this. The day after a loss he is pointing the finger at the officials instead of at himself and his team for blowing a 21 point lead. And these weren't even particularly controversial calls.

Not really surprised, but it should be called out. If you want to act like this when so many on the right have condemned his remarks, then let’s walk down memory lane regarding some of your elected leaders and what seems to be a not insignificant portion of your sides angry, hateful base. How about everyone needs to step back off the ledge before we all walk off it together.

i've been expecting this kind of news for a long time. Trump's inconsistent tariff announcements just offer up a huge opportunity for insider bets. -

Toss 'em in a Yahtzee cup and roll the dice. The only one with consistent targets is Shakir, and it's usually on third down 2-3 yards short of the first down marker hoping he can RAC for the first down. I will never understand not even trying to execute pass plays to the marker. -
what a great thread premise to only get ***** on by the locals. you really need this fighting don't you? how sad.

Pure hunch with no speculation... The Bills did not see him being a factor in the game plan. The Pats CBs are good and didn't see the benefit of putting him on the field in slippery conditions. Having a linear vertical threat with Palmer was sufficient. This also goes for Benford. Having him rest on slippery surface in this matchup was to simply save him and his body. Maye has good stats and has played well but quite literally isn't what people who don't pay attention think. His outside the hash passes and windows are pretty big by the scheme more so than talent. This means great CB play would be mitigated. Flipping back to topic ... Davis in routes, hooks, and flares weren't gonna be the factor. The TE's, RB's and middle of the field were. Against Cleveland we will use Davis to give him the reps but it'll be different. It'll be live fire reps for the playoffs. The pass rushes we may face cojld be important: Texans and Broncos. The Browns and Eagles will be bringing the heat. Josh won't have time to let plays develop for Davis. Like he didn't yesterday until the Pats fell apart and went full ###### on defense -
