It wouldn't have mattered if McKelvin held onto the ball or not. The Patriots had all 3 timeouts, the Bills would have ran 3 times, and only taken about 20 seconds off the clock, punted the ball and then Brady has 1:45 to go about 70 yards after the punt. Does anyone think Brady couldn't or wouldn't have scored against that type of defense the Bills played with 1:45 left, regardless of if he had any timeouts left?

This is what separates the real teams from the fake ones. Real teams finish the games off, fake teams lose games they have no business losing...

But that's the problem...they never had a shot to even get in that position. If it happens, it happens. If Brady goes 70 yards to beat you with no timeouts under two minutes, then so be it. You lose to the best QB in the game. But instead, they gave Brady a 30 yard field to score a TD with 2 mins left. And against teams like NE, you can't do that...Against anyone you can't do that.

Whatever happens, you HAVE to make NE beat you by a long drive.

I blame the cosmic forces that rain poop on Buffalo.

and global warming.

Agreed. McKelvin was playing smart. Get it past the 2 minute warning and hope the offense could deliver. He should have just watch the clock and gone down or out of bounds once the 2 minute hit.

Still, one bad play and I'm sure everyone is talking up the Patsies as the comeback team of all time and how they dominated the bills. :censored:

Explain, please, specifically, what Belichick did to outcoach Jauron in this game.

Ooh! ooh! Mr Kotter! Oooh!

The Moss drag patterns they completed all game, and the Welker stop-drags, were specifically designed by the Pats* coaches to defeat the defense they knew the Bills would be running. What did they end up with, Moss 13 catches, Welker 12? That shows the Bills coaches were unable or unwilling toadjust. The Pats* had the comfort zone of running one or the other for an automatic 4 or 5 yards whenever they needed. If not for the early drops on those patterns, this game doesn't come down to the last minute.

You're right. They should have adjusted when they'd given up 13 points in the first 55 minutes of the game.

You note the part about the drops, right?

They started driving at will when they stopped dropping them. Point being, that was open, all day, a lot. We got lucky early. When it started killing us we had no answer.

Maybe McKelvin can learn something from this. That is an optimist's view.

My opinion is that he clearly cost us the game. Clearly. Not a doubt.

Really? So the BILLS were going to get the required 2 first downs on the 2 minute drive? Or go 3 and out, punt, and stop Brady from scoring?

Sure.

McKelvin f ucked up!!! But the Bills lost this as a team...too many drive ending penalties, too many missed tackles (Mckelvin had his share), bad clock management...the BILLS lost this game, not McKelvin.

They got alot of breaks tonight and the Pats didnt play well in the first three quarters...sorry folks...the Bills werent as good as they looked tonight. The Pats played down to them. Dont fool yourself...there still the BILLS we love and hate

A shot at what, exactly? Certainly not the division. Definitely NOT the playoffs.

They have a shot of finishing 8-8 if the law of averages evens out...remember, all Jauron wants is a SHOT at the end of the game to win. Well, he had a shot, and is 0-1 with his strategy so far this year. If the law of averages plays out, he will be 8-8 since this strategy might as well be a coinflip anyways...

I am sorry, they played a good game.....they hung with a team that would of blown us out. We had a great game plan, and we need to learn to win. How many of us were hoping it was not a blow out? i am still proud to be a bills fan.
