Lt. Dan's Revenge
Thought the commish might knock off a game like he has done with Brandon Marshall last season, and others. Guess not. Lynch Appeal Denied

Ramius
Goodell continues to show how much of a joke he is, especially in regards to the personal conduct policy.
thebug
Don't worry, VOR is working on the appeal of the appeal.

Ramius
Lets run a little checklist here. According to Goodell... 1. Repeated beating/battering of a woman - Its ok, only 1 game 2. Running an illegal gambling/dog killin operation and spending 2 years in the federal pen - its ok, only 5 games (potentially 0, depending on who vick signs with) 3. Countless cheap shots where upon the violator was fined by the league - thats fine, no penalty 4. Carrying a gun locked in a box in your trunk - Nope, 3 games, no chance of reducing the suspension. You stay consistent there, roger.
eball
While this result is piss-poor, there's nothing any of us can do about it and it's time to move on. Thankfully Fred Jackson and Dominic Rhodes as a RB tandem is not a bad backup plan.

BuffaloBlood
I dont disagree with Lynch being forced to serve all 3 games what I am against is the fact that Marshall didnt have to do the same.
seq004
Yep, just got the text. Oh well that sucks but at least we signed Rhodes.
The Dean
Bad decision, IMO, but time to move on. The backfield is deep, this year. Go Bills!
Omar Little
Goodell has no credibility with the way he handled the Marshall and Lynch cases. Marshall's suspension should have been upheld, while Lynch's should have been reduced to two games at most. One game would have been fair.
HurlyBurly51
This sucks, but look at the bright side. This just may have the effect of having ML with "fresh" legs as the season winds down and the weather turns.
BuffaloBill
Perhaps the line of thinking is that Lynch got off easy last year and this year a clear message needs to be sent to him. Hard to say. It is what it is. Time to move on. Most importantly let's hope Lynch learns from this and truly does make some better life decisions.
KollegeStudnet
It mostly relies on Marshawn's hit n' run last season...he didn't get suspended for that and if I remember promised Goodell that he wouldnt get into trouble again...one of the main reasons he didn't get suspended last season Goodell took his word... Tim Anderson's Lunch Pail
I think they are definitely enforcing it to make up for the lost lesson after the hit-and-run. They didn't suspend him then, and he didn't keep his nose out of trouble. It's too bad, but he has no one to blame but himself. It's not Goodell's fault.
