Has that ever worked? ridiculous, jets were all rushed trying to get that kick in before play clock expired. icing them just gave them time to set up properly. Â -If you do call a timeout than the kicker has no worries (besides the win) he can line up and just kick. He also gets a practice. Â -If you don't it's in the back of the kickers head that you might and it distacts him, and more importantly...HE DOESN'T GET A PRACTICE KICK! Â There is no plus to the timeout. Â how is it that he's among the NFL leaders in most QB stats, but every game i've watched him play this year he's throwing HORRIBLE passes to the other team.
