I stay at the Holiday Inn Hamburg because I use reward points. It's kind of a dump and I wouldn't spend $$ to stay there. Some out-of-towners I talked to liked the Econo Lodge on Milestrip Road this past weekend. The Red Roof looks good. The Days inn is closed.

Where you stay really depends on what you want to do before and after the game. Some of us stay in the Orchard Park/Hamburg area because we'd rather party the night before close to the stadium and want to be in line early the next morning for tailgating. If you want to be near the Casinos, stay in Niagara Falls. If you want to experience the downtown area - stay there. Near the airport has some good hotel deals - but there's no place to "walk around". Some stay in one hotel before the game and then near the airport after the game.

Have fun

It is also next door to Jack's Pub, which has great wings. One year, the NFL Refs were eating in there. The Hampton Inn accross the lot is very nice as well, and a little less pricey.

This is good also, and they will take you to the restaurant in a shuttle.

My only gripe with the Red Roof Inn is that they didn't provide free Wi-Fi. With my job the way it is, if I'm travelling, I absolutely have to have internet access.

At the front desk, I was able to buy a 7 day T-Mobile membership for $19.99 - most hotels I've stayed at in the past couple of years include wi-fi for free. Not to mention the fact that I paid cash for the T-Mobile prepaid card, and they billed us again when we checked out (which, of course, we got taken care of).

what, no has mentioned staying in Canada yet? Coming for the Pats game, figured Niagara Falls canada perfect place to be. Got everyting a group of guys could want without having to get in a car and drive!!!!!

Lets see, ya got great view of Falls, Casinos, restaurants, cultural events like the ballet, night clubs....am i missing something?

BTW, really does not matter how old the boy is, he needs to learn to be a man sometime no? Trip to the sundowner never hurt anyone in my estimation

I know. You'd think someone around here would have mentioned something about staying in Canada/Niagara Falls by now:

Where you choose to stay may depend on who is coming along and what you want to do. For my $, stay at the Comfort Suites or Hyatt and then you can enjoy the nightlife on Fri and Sat on Chippewa and stumble back to the hotel. And the Anchor bar is just a short trolley ride away. NF/Canada are close by and the trip to the stadium is not bad on Sunday morning as long as you get there early. And what Bills fan does not want to start tailgating early?

If you are bringing kids, all that changes....

Jack's Pub, huh?  Will you and your group be staying near there?  Maybe we could meet there before the Pats game and I can see how good their wings are.

Jack's Pub definitely has very good wings. I will be in town for that weekend, so maybe we should all plan a couple hours for some beers and wings there. It doesn't do the greatest business, meaning it's rarely packed, but has been around awhile and the bartenders are usually cool.

Hold on, now; lemme get this straight: they have good wings, the bartenders are cool, it's rarely packed, AND we'll (Bill from NYC and crew, you, myself) all be there that weekend?

Jack's Pub it is. What say ye?
