  1. Haven't been very active here for a while, but just booked flights and bought tickets, so looking forward to seeing some familiar faces in Dallas! My wife and I will be in Sec 441, Row 1. We arrive early Thursday and fly home early Saturday. Where's the party?
  2. My wife and I are flying in from Cincinnati on Friday morning. Staying in Santa Monica (Doubletree) and attending the tailgate. Will be my first Bills game this season, then back in my seats at The Ralph for the Niners and Pats games.
  3. My wife and I are flying out from Ohio. Tickets to the game (sec 20, row 54) & tailgate purchased. Can't wait!
  4. I rarely post here these days, but wanted to add my condolences. From this kid that grew up in Ohio with zero connections to the city of Buffalo, turned 20+ year Bills die hard, thank you Mr Wilson!
  5. Anyone making this trip and planning to tailgate? My fiance and I will be there, but will have a rental car, so there won't be much tailgating gear. We'll probably grab a cheap cooler at publix and some beers. Would love to find someone who might have a grill, otherwise, we'll probably just grab some cold food. We're staying at the Hampton Inn downtown Jacksonville on Saturday night if anyone would like to get together and have some drinks beforehand as well. 6. My dad and I will be there. From the looks of it at downtown sports bars last night, the Bills will be well represented.
  7. My dad and I are heading over to Indy from Cincinnati in a few hours. Staying at the Westin tonight - since we'll already be parked (in a garage), we'll probably stay indoors instead of tailgating. Since it's close to our hotel and a short walk to the stadium, we'll probably hit up Champions Sports Bar: https://plus.google.com/113132454344445703151/about?gl=us&hl=en I just called and they open at 10am. We'll probably grab an early lunch and a few beers before walking over.
  8. Any screen printer should be able to burn a screen and print the #s on it for you. Make sure that they're familiar with printing on poly, otherwise, there may be dye migration and the ink might turn light blue. Otherwise, lots of people will do vinyl heat sealed numbers also. As mrags mentioned, I'd find a local sports shop to sew on some real numbers for a much nicer, durable look.
  9. There was definitely some "I hope he's done for the season" type yelling as the injury occurred, but it was the alcohol and bitterness talking.
  10. No plans yet, but take a look at: http://prod.static.b...Parking_Map.pdf Compare that to this: https://maps.google...., Ohio&t=m&z=16 A few years ago, the largest Bills contingent was in the yellow lots on the NW part of the map - specifically, the inlet corner above the "y" in "Walkway". Kenny (Pinto Ron) and his crew were in this area, which is probably the main reason why Bills fans congregated here. You'll hear people talk about the "Muni Lot" (Municipal Lot), which I believe is east the Southeast Gate, but it seems like that's not an ideal place to tailgate anymore: http://fox8.com/2012...espite-warning/ Our plans are still up in the air - my gf and I are going with a group of Browns fans, so I'm not necessarily steering the ship. I WILL be flying a Bills flag, regardless of where we are though. Edit - no clue why my links aren't working. Copy/paste
  11. Will be @ Cleveland & @ Indy + a game or 2 in Buffalo. Otherwise, on my couch watching Sunday Ticket on the 60" plasma.
  12. Who's going? Just bought my tickets from the Ticketmaster Exchange: http://www.ticketexchangebyticketmaster.com/cleveland-browns-tickets/ Paid about $74/ea to sit in Sec 526, Row 14. Besides the regulars (Kenny, etc), who am I tailgating with this year? *** not sure why the URL isn't working - just google Browns Ticket Exchange. It's not cheap, but saved me $3-4/ea vs StubHub
  13. Per Sal Capaccio: WGR will not be playing the presser live - will have an update at 3pm with sound.
  14. As much as I hate to say it, "to be the man, you have to beat the man". Champs until someone can consistently knock them off. Wooooooooooooooooooooooooooo
  15. Thanks for both of your input - Blue, I like the way that you broke it down. Ultimately, while Vick's durability may be in question, I think that he has more tools around him to score me points (including his own legs). Gonna go with Vick + Cruz and hope that Manning is terrible.
  16. I am in a keeper league that does an auction style draft. We get a $200 budget at the beginning of the draft to fill our rosters. Also, something a bit unique, instead of individual QBs, we do a team QB system (starter + backups). I am struggling to decide which 2 of the following 3 players I want to keep: - Broncos Team QB - $8 value - I actually had Tebow on my bench last year and lucked out to get Manning so cheap - Victor Cruz - $12 value - top 20 WR for pretty cheap...? - Eagles Team QB - $4 value - With Vick's injuries last year, I picked this one up on waivers at the end of the season I have 2 lines of thinking here... - Broncos QB + Cruz for $20 (10% of total budget) - I knock out 2 of my top skill positions and go big on top RB/WR talent. Biggest question mark is whether Manning has "it" or not - Broncos QB + Eagles QB for $12 (6% of total budget) - I get 2 "solid" to "great" QBs for dirt cheap...if both work out, I have trade bait. If one ***** the bed, I have one to replace. 2 for cheaper than 1 starter, then go after top tier talent with my remaining budget. Any thoughts?
  17. And I'm a UC alum and I want to punch you in the face.
  18. The Bills got plenty of my tears when I was a little guy. Screw that kid...welcome to real life.
  19. Have a safe trip. My question - kilt or no kilt?
  20. Thanks! http://www.buffaloinvasion.com/
  21. Just bought our tickets on Stubhub - sec 412 row 5.
  22. This weekend will be my first trip down to Miami for a Bills game (have been for the Orange Bowl and a few baseball games in the past). I've spoken to a few people (Jay being one of them) who are going. Since I haven't bought tickets yet, I was hoping to get some feedback: Where is your group tailgating? Where are your seats? I'll be bringing a couple of coolers and a propane grill, so let me know if your group could use the addition of a couple more (my friend and I - he's a Bengals fan, but will be donning a Bills jersey for the day).
