  1. I worked for a mowing company in high school. One Saturday morning, I drove in to work, still half drunk from the night before. By noon, from smelling grass clippings and gasoline all day, I was throwing up everywhere. Needless to say, my day was cut short.
  2. I'm approaching 500. Point proven.
  3. I hit mute right about the time that Elton John took stage. While I know that most of you people are older and probably dig the guy, coming from a 22 year old, straight male, when I'm ready to watch football, ELTON JOHN IS THE ABSOLUTE LAST PERSON I WANT TO SEE OR HEAR. Glad to get that off my chest. Thank you.
  4. Schobel... If he does, his is the next jersey I'll purchase (already have a Spikes away, Flutie...er Losman throwback, now I need to get a Schobel home).
  5. Madden: "This sure has been a flip-flop" Michaels: "Well, we're certainly in the right state for that"
  6. IMO, the Patsies are looking sharp, on both sides of the ball. Our O better be ready to play when they meet, or we might be in for a couple of long games.
  7. I do believe this thread will make history on TBD. I wish I could offer assistance, Rock, but I must say, this thread has made me laugh more than a few times.
  8. It should work - typically the "red eye removal" is nothing more than airbrushing the red to a dark gray/black color.
  9. I work for Dell, but do not recommend buying Dell memory, simply due to the price. www.newegg.com has some good prices (and a good selection of brands)
  10. Back to the land of Oz, with all the other Munchkins.
  11. Oh God...is this what it has come to?
  12. My dad and I attended the game last night. A few obversations: - Dominic Rhodes is either a very good back or our rush defense really needs to step it up a couple of notches come regular season. - London Fletcher got juked out of his jockstrap on several occassions - As noted by others, Bledsoe looked pretty sharp when given a reasonable amount of time to look downfield and throw the ball. - It didn't work, but I actually kinda like the "fleaflicker" call. Makes me look forward to some entertaining plays this season. - Almost every time there was pressure on Bledsoe, Mike Williams was backpedaling or looking for his man. I didn't attack him during his personal crisis(s?) during camp, but this guy just doesn't have it. - McGahee ran well when the o-line gave him a hole. Early on, there were no holes and Indy's D stopped him pretty well. By the 3rd quarter, Indy was playing mostly pass defense, so he got off a few decent runs. - Shaud Williams looks like a solid 3rd stringer / potential 2nd string running back if we lose one of our backs to injury. - I nearly puked when Travis Brown got hit...2 QBs in one week! - I was surprised how loud a dome could get for a preseason game. About midway through the 3rd, both levels were doing "the wave" and it absolutely roared. The Bills fell apart at about that time. Oh well. More later.
  13. I remember someone posting a story about this game - he said he was about 10 and both a Bills & Falcons fan... When Deion ran the TD, some drunk Bills fan chucked a beer his direction (he was wearing a Falcons jersey) and his dad got up and beat the guy's ass.
  14. If its raining, as forecasted, you can find my dad and I at Champions Sports Bar, north of the stadium at the Marriott (I think).
  15. I thought these people were malnourished. How the hell can they do the things they do?
  16. My dad and I are Aisle 150, Row 27... I'll be wearing a Spikes jersey - I might see if I can find a Henry/McGahee jersey locally for my dad.
  17. Damnit...he's one of the main reasons why I wanted to go to the preseason game in Indy.
