  1. Falcons @ Bills - 2005. I brought my girlfriend (at the time) to attend the game with me. We were seated in my season tickets in the Rockpile. At one point, second half, I believe, a fight got started a couple of sections to our right (almost mid endzone, right below the scoreboard). It didn't take long for things to escalate, with more and more people fighting - I was obviously trying to watch the game and keep an eye on her, so I didn't really see it unfold. It took a while for security to get things under control (probably 15-20 minutes, real time) and when it was all over, a person in a Falcons jersey was taken out on a gurney, bleeding. Rumor has it that the person was stabbed. Regardless, I wasn't able to convince her to attend any games with me again. Thank you rowdy Bills & Falcons fans.
  2. For those of you complaining about how boring the games have been, the last couple of USA games have made up for that. I came into this World Cup saying that the US team would need to do something big to truly earn my support (besides just the patriotic pride of rooting for the national team). They did it...I'm on the wagon.
  3. Smartest person in the video was the male w/ the 2 girls...he not only tried to keep fatty in the pink shirt away from the cop, but once she went after him, he got the hell out of the way. Props to him. I hope the guy who video'd this got hit by a car shortly after for his "are you serious? are you serious?".

  5. From everything I've heard and read, they're really turning away a lot of casual fans trying to give soccer a shot. If the South African fans want to say that they're a part of their culture, allow them for South Africa games only.
  6. Avatar was taken after an all night bender in Vegas - stumbled into the Hooters casino around 5am for wings, turned out to be a Marino owned bar/restaurant. I reluctantly ate there...bitched the whole time. I, unfortunately, spend A LOT of time on I-4 between Orlando and Tampa. Probably make that drive on average 10-15 times a month.
  7. Here, here. I'm on pace to drive 30,000+ miles this year (mostly work related) and deal with this daily. I'll likely die from a road rage induced heart attack. No joke.
  8. I'd donate 2 boxes of condoms to her to ensure that she doesn't reproduce.
  9. Well, he probably is a WVU fan.
  10. For those that want to get nostalgic...TBD's first thread on Lost (12/2004): http://forums.twobillsdrive.com/index.php?...c=12926&hl= EDIT - might not be the "first", but the oldest one I could find. Funny to read some of the comments
  11. For starters, I suggest Treme on HBO, which just showed episode 7 of its first 10 episode season. Has already been picked up for a second season. Completely different type show, but it sucked me in after ep. 1 and I'm a big fan. Edit: Didn't see plez's comment above. That said, I second his recommendation. If you have cable, check the On-Demand channels - you should be able to get caught up quickly.
  12. Creepy - they were just doing the live promo for the Lost auction (Dharma lasagna, Walt's comic book, and Locke's knife) and young Jacob appeared, half hidden in some foliage in the background. You're right though - these actors, particularly O'Quinn, aren't used to live interviews.
  13. Anyone having doubts about this episode should consider tuning to Jimmy Kimmel Live (or watch online tomorrow, if you're already in bed). Within the first 5 minutes, JK had a great interview with Matthew Fox. Awesome call back to the first episode of this season, when Rose tells Jack that he can "let go now" after the "sideways" plane goes through turbulence. Really pulled it all together for me. Also, how about those Target commercials? Well played...
  14. I re-watched the first 4 episodes of season 1 last night. Holy hell, my perspective has changed. From the very beginning, I can see the end in sight. Biggest foreshadowing for me - I always thought that Locke would end up evil just from that cut above & under his eye. Always made me think of him as a super-villian, even though he seemed like such a good intentioned old guy. Hearing him say "Don't tell me what I can't do" gave me chills. I'm REALLY going to miss this show

  16. Initially upon "Mother" walking up on Claudia by the stream and their first few sentences once in the cave. Then it switched to English entirely before Claudia went into labor.
  17. PBR, Busch, Natty Light, Beast...which did you choose? EDIT - nevermind, thought the heading was "WEST Virginia..."
  18. Al Davis looked like a total meth head - one of the only times I wish I didn't have HD - I could literally see his face scabs
  19. Just a hunch, but I think the "bomb" was in regards to the 73 virgins for the Islamic martyr.
  20. If you want to get totally shitfaced without gambling, go to a Fat Tuesday - buy the tall drink and pay $1 ea for as many additional shots of 151 as you want.
