She's seriously cracking up? Can someone REALLY be this stupid (other than BF)?

Stupid as it is, it's her right.  And if you people would stop getting all up in arms about every dumb statement she made from time to time, she'd probably go away.

If it weren't for conservatives here or on talk radio, I wouldn't know what this woman was doing.

Consider who it was addressed to, i.e. the guy who thinks "Nuke all Muslims"= good foreign policy, and then you'll get it.

But he used to say "We should understand and talk to the terrorists and sing kum ba yah together" was good foreign policy as well.

You've got to give him credit for consistency...he's consistently an extremist. B-)

Might be a conditioned response. Months ago I'd be hitting the remote as soon as I heard the words "Cindy Shee" click. I may not even be conscious of it any more.

Here she's just constantly in your face. B-)

It seems that  conservatives aren't the only ones keeping the Cindy Sheehan fad alive.  Lynn Woolsey(D-CA06) has invited her to the State of the Union.

That's actually kind of funny. It might actually make the State of the Union Address worth watching this year.

She going to sit in the audience, or just set up camp in front of the podium? 0:)

OOPS.....I guess not!!!    ;)

You just can't take this woman anywhere!

Woolsey offered Sheehan a ticket to the speech — Gallery 5, seat 7, row A — earlier Tuesday while Sheehan was attending an "alternative state of the union" press conference by CODEPINK, a group pushing for an end to the Iraq war.

Those CODEPINK lunatics had their own State of the Union address? :(

I have GOT to get the !@#$ out of this country.

CODE PINK?

Let me guess, underground queer peace movement? lovely. Why don't they all just go see Brokeback Mountain?

590667[/snapback]

Nope. Think PinkO.

CODEPINK is a women-initiated grassroots peace and social justice movement working to end the war in Iraq, stop new wars, and redirect our resources into healthcare, education and other life-affirming activities. CODEPINK rejects the Bush administration's fear-based politics that justify violence, and instead calls for policies based on compassion, kindness and a commitment to international law.  With an emphasis on joy and humor, CODEPINK women and men seek to activate, amplify and inspire a community of peacemakers through creative campaigns and a commitment to non-violence.

CODE PINK?

Code Pink was protesting outside of Walter Reed for months. The wounded soldiers that went out for dinner on Friday evenings gave them the finger when they returned. They Were displaced when they forgot to renew their permit to protest there and Protest Warrior, a conservative group grabbed the spot.

They have given over $650 K to the "fredom fighters" in Iraq- supporting the enemy.

Medea (Suzie) Benjamin, their leader, was going to be a human shield in Iraq in 2002.

They were planning a trip to Cuba for Christmas, but canceled when reminded by the government that they would be arrested upon return for violating the law.

They are an ultra left wing feminist group. The woman that started yelling at the RNC when Bush came on stage was with Code pinko.

I have had a personal confrontation with them. Just before election day, Arnold Schwartenegger appeared in the area. I went to the rally. To get into the area, you had to pass thru a metal dector. The line was about 10 minutes long. When I was near the entrance, the Code pinkos come up carrying signs trying to cut in line. Everybody refused to let them in line and they had to get rid of the signs.

They all were wearing shirts with hand prints over the breasts (they were yelling about Arnold groping women). Most of them looked like a man has never groped them in their lives. When Arnold started to talk, they tried to yell to drown him out- typical left tactics-If you don't agree with me, you have no right to be heard. When the crowd looked like they would beat the crap out of them (glaring) they quieted down. The leader (Benjamin) ws saying that Arnold was an idiot. I said to her "If you think he is such an idiot, why don't you let him talk and everyone will see that?" I was met with a blank stare, and she continued to yell.

After the rally, they went into the press area to talk to the news, but when people who came to the rally for Arnold tried to do the same, security said we were not allowed there and would be arrested if we did. Media bias in action.

Oh, yeah.  THESE are the people I want dictating foreign policy.  "Hey, Kim Jong-Il...got your nose!  0:)  :doh:

I was only on their website long enough to copy their 'manifesto'... but I think even that short-term exposure dropped my IQ ten points.

Flashback to college days: we (SF society) were selling buttons in the student union building (to finance our next boozefest), when one of those peace/justice/nuclear freeze groups set up shop next to us. They didn't last long, though, after we broke out the decks of Nuclear War cards and started playing...

Ah, good memories.
