BuffOrange
We were walking to our cars for the post-game tailgate, and my friend walked up to me and said, "I think I just heard that Houston beat the Fish." And I was thinking that things couldn't have been more perfect. BTW, the underlying argument about from whom Nate Odomes stole that ball is brilliant. That's why I keep coming back here. 389799 Yeah, best opening day ever. I was watching it in a bar celebrating the shutout. 5 minutes later a guy with a Dolphins jersey was kicking around bar stools. I wanted to rub it in but wasn't drunk enough so I bit my tongue. I have watched the 1990 Bills highlite video ~5,000 times and I remember each game as if it were yesterday. Van Miller's call: "It is thrown out there...and...caught" (in a really soft uninterested voice). Cue color guy: "It's taken away!" Van: "It is taken away! Nate Odomes! He took the ball away from Willie Gault!".
BillsWatch
Jimbo tossing an interception and when the DB was hotdogging it (IMO) Jimbo tackled him knocking him out of the game, season and I believe his career. He was a QB who threw interceptions but hated it even though it was part of trying to make big plays. After that the Kurt Shultz interception where Kurt jumped over the WR was jumping for the ball. The WR could not believe he got the ball without interfering but big screen clearly showed him not touching the WR and just touching the ball. SACTOBILLSFAN
Jim Kelly breaking a corner's legs by tackling him after a pick. 389576 I still remember the Falcon's DB's leg from about the mid-shin down blowing wildly in the winds of Rich Stadium I have a Jim Kelly doll that "talks" about that run. It's cool in that "it's still a doll" kind of way. 389659 I too have that doll. But my favorite single moment was either Steve Christie's onside kick in the Comeback or in that same game when Andre Reed made a sliding TD catch in the back of the end zone. (I also liked it when he mocked Webster Slaughter's dance after he scored TD two i think it was)
Buftex
The one play that comes immediately to mind, in more recent years, was Drew Bledsoes' amazing pass to Peerless Price, to take that Bills/Vikings shootout into overtime, back in 2002. It was Bledsoes' second game as a Bill. It wasn't the longest pass ever, but it was maybe the greatest toss I have ever seen. Very few QB's could make that throw. Drew just sort of jammed it into triple coverage, but there was no doubt that it was going to end up in Price's hands. I was so sure, from that momnent on, Bledsoe was going to lead us back to the promise land...what a tease....
Kelly the Dog
To Roland Hooks. I am in an argument with guy at work.He says 1979, I say 1982. Do you know? I remember Van making the call "Right now there are 25,000 people in the parking lot saying What the Hell is going on in there." 389822 Neither. I think it was 1981. The first of the two catches by Hooks may have been the best catch ever by a Bill. Here are the home games against the Pats in those years. 1978 L 10-14 1979 L 6-26 1980 W 31-13 1981 W 20-17 1982 strike year, they didnt play NE at home

That is Correct November 22, 1981 A HAIL MARY WINS IT FOR THE BILLS In one of the wildest Bills victories ever, QB Joe Ferguson completed a 36-yard "Hail Mary" pass to RB Roland Hooks in the end zone with five seconds to play, giving Buffalo a 20-17 victory over the New England Patriots at Rich Stadium. canbuffan34
Nate Odoms taking the ball away from James Jett in the 1990 Raiders game.AMAZING!!! 389210 Jim Kelly (running toward the sidelines, mad as hell, throws his body at the seahawk defender who just had intercepted his pass and was "strutting" down the sidelines) breaks the guy's leg at the ankle! That to me was Jim Kelly football! Man, I miss that heart and toughness in our QB position! Here's hoping that JP can be even close to that kind of player. WillisMcThrillis
Still my favorite bills moment was the entire Bills/Phins snowbowl game from 2003. My buddy sold me and my friend two tickets right on the goal line for 20 bucks. I drove in from syracuse in a freakin blizzard and just sat down in my seat to see ricky williams break a forty yard touchdown passed nate clements. But after that play it was (mostly) all bills. Peerless's sliding TD. The bomb to Moulds off freeman's hands. Peerless's Juke TD and running into jimbo's arms in the endzone. Travis bowling over EVERY miami defender. Ray Lucas getting BURIED by Keith Newman and subsequently ending his career (Lucas couldnt move his head because of a neck stinger, and as he is being escorted to the locker room, someone guns a snowball and hits him right inthe side of his helmet). Chide Ahonitu stripping ricky and recovering the fumble. But, most importantly, how loud it was whenever it snowed. I still get chills whenever i think of when they started play "Oh the weather outside is frightful...." and the croud screaming LET IT SNOW! The bills were still fighting for a playoff spot, and after watching the entire 3-13 season the year before, it was the greatest i have ever felt after a bills game. That was definitely in my top 5. I remember being in the end zone as they started that drive with hordes of people just streaming out of the stadium and telling my brother "This will be an Alcoa Fantastic Finish!" Hooks also had an amazing catch on a long pass down the middle that drive.
Ramius
Nope. Tim Brown. Reeds 4th and a bunch catch against the Raiders in LA in 1991. Dude was money when the lombardi wasn't at stake. 389728 No, it was Willie Gault.I vaguely remember that Raiders game. Went to OT because Norwood missed a PAT...otherwise all I remember is Lofton making a sick TD catch with his shoulder pad all f'd up. 389791 Yeah, best opening day ever. I was watching it in a bar celebrating the shutout. 5 minutes later a guy with a Dolphins jersey was kicking around bar stools. I wanted to rub it in but wasn't drunk enough so I bit my tongue. As have you Bufforange, i have watched the 1990 bills hilite film more times that is healthy, and thats a great call by Van...
Cheeseburger_in_paradise
Mine was probably Sep 30. 1990. Bills were getting kicked around by Denver down by 3 Td's.It was an unusually cool day, and at one end zone some snow flurries started from a lonely cloud and the stadium just exploded with cheering. It seemed to spark the Bills, they scored 3 TD's in 77 seconds to win 29-28. At least that is how I remember it. 389595 That's the one I was trying to remember. To me it ment we had finally arrived as a contender.
Buckey
That would be mine, as well. Even better was how pissed Cox was afterwards that Thurman bested him 1 on 1. He was so upset it was wonderful. 389751 YES IT WAS! Nothing was as sweet as that.
