Not that I want to overlook a rising Bengals team, but I could not help notice that the Patriots get a bye week before playing us on their home turf.  Plenty of time to prepare for the Bills.  Nothing comes easy fo us.

Just hope our guys do the job against the Bengals and then circle the biggest game of the season the week after as an absolute must-win.

NE did a good job containing Cook in the first game. Cook had 15 carries for only 49 yards. That will have to change. You know they will focus on stopping Cook as priority number #1 for their defense. As for the passing game it is what it is. We don't have a great group at WR's despite having a great QB.

I live 90 minutes from Foxboro. Looked at tickets for the game. Cheapest seats are over $400! You can get into the other two remaining Pats games for a hundred.

Patriot fair weather fandom will be at its peak for this game. I live in NH and there are so many more Patriot "fans" now. Most of them don't even know how many games there are in the regular season.

They still got gashed a bit over the middle…Josh had 50 yards rushing and Kincaid had 100+ receiving yards.  People like to lump that one in with the falcons/dolphins type games but it had a pretty different vibe to me at least.   That was mostly a ‘we moved the ball but got hampered with penalties/turnovers’ type game imo

I don’t think the pats defense is very stout in the middle of the field to begin with and throwing everything at slowing down cook opened other things up in that one..  granted that doesn’t mean it’ll happen again lol

I’ve been assuming this was will be flexed for weeks now.

Not likely as Fox has the 4:25 game that day and no way CBS would give it up and the Sunday night game involves Dallas who is always a big draw so not likely NBC would want to give that one up.  Actually CBS has 3 ve4ry good early 1:00 games that day, Bills @ NE, Rams @ Chiefs, and Balt @ Bengals so could just as easily argue in favor of flexing the other two also.

Don't know if they flex to Monday night?  That's kind of a dud, Steelers at Miami, but even there, Steelers draw well on TV too.
