There has to be something we don't know about Moore. They can't just let him go because Brady didn't know how to use him could they. I'll ask Diggs.

Its sad McDermott will keep letting this happen

Not surprised based on his social media yesterday.  Feel for him.  I think he works hard and was poorly used by the staff

The int in Houston was ugly though. Made no attempt for ball IMO

My thought is you don't rely on guys that are still available to be signed after the draft to play important roles for your team. Especially at premium positions. The narrative that he just needed good QB play to turn his career around was always ridiculous. The tape was out there and NFL pro personnel departments aren't stupid.

I really hope we sign Pierce. And draft a couple wrs with our 1st 2 picks

This is a very tough lesson for Beane not to be cheap at wr ever again with Allen.

The offense generally speaking needs to take priority. That's the whole point of a defensive hc

It's always going to be someone else's fault with this staff. They'll let one of the kitchen staff go before doing anything meaningful.

Question. Did they release him because they signed Cooks? Or did they sign Cooks because Moore asked to be released?

Moore has some productivity in the past. His utilization in this offense is probably hurting his modest (in NFL standards) future earnings.

I'm assuming Gabe will be added to the 53 this week or next week

Shakir

Palmer

Cooks
Shavers  (should be getting more targets but isn't)

Davis

Samuel IR?
Coleman still inactive?

Silver lining … with this team, we don’t have to ask “who’s going to replace the production” if a wide receiver is injured or cut.

He was just another receiver. Poorly used? Yeah.

Again, that's on McD and Joe Brady.

This is a terribly heartless thing to say, but I view guys like him, Samuel, and even Cooks as lottery tickets.  They have shown flashes in the past, will they blossom here?  Who knows.  I'm never mad when we sign them (and I was actually cautiously optimistic about Samuel).  If they don't pan out, it is time to move on.  You don't keep lottery tickets that don't win.

Of course, it is a valid argument that we shouldn't be in such desperate straights that our strategy appears to be lottery tickets.

The fan in me says...maybe one of them will hit.

the emphasis in the spring MUST be adding a legit higher tier WR1 and a legit WR2.  Enough is enough.
