Yeah but the Rams also went 25-26 from 2022-2024.

 

They took their lumps on the salary cap and exercised lot's and lot's of draft picks to rebuild that roster.

 

Two things Bills fans never want to do.

 

They want to extend everyone.  They always want to trade up.

 

Beane has generally had his finger on the pulse of what Bills fans want and that's why he's gotten his balls tongue bathed on TSW and in the media for years.

 

Until this WR sh!t FINALLY hit the fan.   Now the fan base has turned on him.

I don’t disagree with the premise of this thread.
 

However, where do these takes come from? It doesn’t seem organic to me. This post and every Bills Twitter personality all of a sudden spitting this Rams narrative….not an independent thinker in the Mafia? We’ve created quite the echo chamber it’s hard for new ideas to penetrate through the noise.

Their most expensive defender is Poona Ford at $9.2M per year. Bills currently have 7 defenders signed to either current contracts or extensions that are more expensive per year.

That makes it sound like they consistently weren’t competitive. They went 5-12 in 2022 (Stafford missed half the season) and then went 10-7 and made the playoffs in 2023 and 2024.

One drive away from knocking off the Eagles last year. Beat us last year. Several points to credibility if anybody thinks they aren’t lapping us in team building at this point

The Rams had 1 bad year, in 2022, in which Stafford was injured.  They made the playoffs in '23 and '24 - nothing great, but it's disingenuous to make it sound like those were "down" years.

Unless you and @gobills404 don't follow the NFL or are just bad at math it shouldn't seem disingenuous.  

 

That record is EXACTLY what the Rams were.  No spin.  

 

They were around .500 over that period and teams that can do that are going to be in WC contention.   

 

In fact, the Rams then started out 1-4 in 2024.........so they were actually 16-23 over the first 39 games post SB win.  

 

It was getting ugly. 

 

But that 25-26 also INCLUDES their extraordinary 10-2 finish last year(when Bills fans saw them, not during their inept start).

 

In 2023 they were the definition of middling.   The 9-8 Saints actually had a huge point differential advantage over those Rams but missed the playoffs.

 

There are just a lot of people on here who don't want to accept that the Rams DID actually take a multi-season re-set in engineering their team and salary cap turnaround.

The problem is even if you are far and away the best team any given year you are nowhere near guaranteed a superbowl win….theres just so much variance in this stupid sport 😂

 

rams weren’t far off a falcons level collapse against tom Brady of their own that year haha there’s a very good chance the year you load up to win it you’re not gonna win
