Coaching is the key!

Sitting here watching the NFL Redzone of the teams that are playing today. It’s just amazing how well coached the Colts, Bears, Patriots and Seahawks are. Looking at the rosters we have just as much talent as all four of these teams. What is the difference? COACHING! As crazy as this might sound, but Keon Coleman is the most talented receiver on this team. If he was on any other team besides Seattle, he would be the number one or number two receiver, hands-down. Aside from all the bad draft picks this team has enough talent to be at minimum 9 and 2 at this point in the season. I know the best solution is to let the season play itself out, but we cannot roll out with the same management and coaching staff next year. This has been such a disappointing season. I feel for the fans who paid their hard earned money to see the product that McDermott and Beane has put out there. But most of all I feel so bad for Josh Allen. Generational quarterback, just being wasted. Please Terry make the move and stop this sinking ship!

Keon Coleman wouldn't be the #1 on any team in the NFL. I am not sure there are more than 2 or 3 where he'd even get a look as a #2.

Our issues are bigger than Keon Coleman being a starting WR here. And Coaching is definitely one of those issues. The coaching doesn't get to get off that easy.

 

Keon wasn't even in uniform in the pathetic display of a game against Houston that had loads of issues in it.

Agee that coaching is the problem - play calls, being coached to finish plays, etc.  Disagree about Keon being the most talented.  He can't get separation.

Coaching is a problem. It's far from the only problem.

 

Not replenishing talent has been a problem. Players getting lazy and complacent has been a problem. Injury has been a problem. 

 

Coaching has been part of it. Unquestioned. But it's far from the only factor. This version of this team has been years in the making.

the colts and seattle had the same coaching staffs last year and missed the playoffs.

He could be a great red zone WR, I'm guessing that's his attention span. Ok, let's try that.

What I’m saying about Keon is that the talent is there! With the right coaching he can be a very good wide receiver. We are currently talking about a 21 year-old immature player. Watch how his game will develop once being coach properly or if he’s traded to another team, he will blossom.  Also Seattle didn’t have Sam Darnold and Colts didn’t have Daniel Jones last year.

Coaching has been an issue this year. It isn't the reason Keon Coleman sucks.

It starts with coaching.  Coaching has continued to be a problem for this team for years.

the name of the thread is coaching is the key.  So which is it with the colts and seattle, the coaching or the qb's?

Not to be a jerk here but he was fired as DC in Philly by Andy Reid.

Another issue besides coaching is the coaching of Allen to help him evolve from  being a gunslinger and he was suppressed from that ---and too far...we need balance and let Josh be Josh but there is a lot of tape on us and we need to be smarter. QB is cerebral as well and he needs to be less frenetic and also he could have called time out if the play came in late on the last drive---we need to develop his non physical part of the game... Josh is still the best thing that ever happened to Buffalo
