Then retire back in California Going back to the day we drafted him what makes you think he wanted to play 10 or 13 years? He literally said his favorites were Tom Brady and Brett favre both guys who pushed it to the absolute physical limit I wouldn't have those guys as my icons if I just wanted to Coast for 10 years get money and retire Those are typically guys you idolize when you have a fire.. and again as I said there are ebbs and flows two football seasons games and careers I've seen you absolutely meltdown with the Oklahoma Sooners and I was always telling you you're overreacting Josh wants to retire after 10 years well that means he'll retire as a bill next year lol But he's also not going to go to the Hall of Fame if he does... Which again I think he certainly has that drive He was mad when he won the MVP because we didn't win the Super bowl... That fire just didn't disappear in 4 months It's a long season and he's feeling the grind.. he's also the guy who bounces back Edited 1 hour ago by Buffalo716 1 Quote

Elway didnt win squat until he went from pure gun slinger to WCO. Quote

They've got issues, and I'm all ears for Beane and McD being out of rope soon if they don't get out of this up and down cycle their in right now. But lets not pretend the last 8 years have been a total loss winning on average 12 games for the last 5 years. it's very difficult to not win a lot of games scoring as many TDs as we have since Allen's been QB it's equally difficult to have zero hardware under those same conditions once you square that circle you can understand the angst 1 Quote
SoCal Deek Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago The story line is obvious. Once the Bills open their new stadium, he requests and gets traded to the Rams to replace a then retired Stafford to play under the ‘other Sean’ in Southern California to be closer to Hollywood, and home for him and the new wife. 1 Quote

I get it it's been a frustrating season Josh is also a person who 5 days ago was laughing maniacally while trucking his way into the end zone That passion and love is still there.. like any professional who starts getting paid the most money It does SAP some of the consistent joy out of the game because it is a job you have to be business-like and take it seriously The balance is still finding that Joy.. which Josh did even have 5 days ago I don't think it's a lost cause 1 Quote

Time will tell, maybe if Shanny Jr and Lynch get booted from San Fran in a few years or if we go hard for Kurt Kubiak. Quote

The bills would never trade him.. we have his contract rights This is the sorry sap stuff that I talk about.. people who have this mindset literally don't think Buffalo should have nice things Saying this stuff to people who live in Buffalo would literally start fights at bars.. it's easy to say that when you're living in beautiful California but you're basically saying that the City of Buffalo doesn't deserve Josh Allen and he doesn't like us If he forces it I would trade him to the freaking panthers Edited 58 minutes ago by Buffalo716 Quote

Yeah Josh isn't the least "California like" California born QBs I've seen since Elway (minus his not wanting to play for the Colts). Quote

Clearly because he isn’t smiling then, he must want to go play for LA or San Fran. 1 Quote

I’m not saying any of that stuff. Professional football is a BUSINESS and his wife has a career too! Ya don’t think this has been discussed at the Allen dinner table, you’re kidding yourself. That same discussion would go on at anyone’s table. No slight of anywhere or anybody intended. Quote

I don't think you're sliding me I'm just saying the people in Buffalo are proud.. All the stuff that people in the city have gone through forever from the loss of jobs.. all the sports heartbreak.. the blizzards.. even recently the tops massacre This is a city that prideful and tough and embraces people who are willing to embrace this place that we know doesn't have all the Glam and glitz of the rest of the world ... I'm not throwing hands with people at a bar if they had your opinion.. but I have seen fights break out because people have trashed Josh Allen People who have little money are willing to donate to Josh's causes because we love him.. the city has rallied around Josh to the point where he is The shining light of Buffalo He's literally the best thing that's happened to the city in a long time... I'm talking the actual City and region... Even Jim Kelly was not embraced as much... Josh is a superhero to all the kids at the Cancer wards and to all the kids in the city And he's the hope of all the 75 and 80 year old men who have never seen that Lombardi trophy hoisted by the bills Quote

Yeah and even today Josh's family always been willing to travel to Buffalo for a game. And in another year or so they’ll be traveling across country to see their grandchild. I’m guessing they’d prefer that grandchild to be much closer than WNY. It’s just how life goes. Quote
todd Posted 48 minutes ago Posted 48 minutes ago Josh isn't leaving. The cap hit of his contract and his commitment to WNY won't let him. Enough of that crap. He's staying. Other changes to the GM and Coach I'm open to after last night, but josh is going nowhere. Quote
