Congratulations again to last week's (yesterday's) winner, @stlbills13!

The Bills make the roady to take on the Houston Texans on TNF.   So which Bills team will show up?  Will it be the team that ***** the bed against Miami?  Or will it be the team that came out trading punches with the Bucs until finally pulling away late?

I'm trying to believe in the Bills.  I really am.  But I just can't get down with this schizoid personality.  One thing that will prove it to me is to have Keon Coleman be a healthy scratch again.   That will allow Tyrell "Earnie" Shavers to flourish.  If Coleman plays, he's just taking targets from more dynamic players.  Here's hoping that Coleman rides the pines:

Beews - 34

Texans - 27

The Texans have a good defense.  Nobody's scored 30 on them yet this year and most teams don't even reach 20.  They only give up 258.1 yards per game.   I see a grind, but one the Bills eventually win.

An underrated quality of Allen is he does well in revenge games. Played like crap against New England in 2019, beat them twice in 2020 including one blowout win. Wasn't ready for the big lights in the 2020 AFCCG, the next year was the 13 seconds game. Lost to Jacksonville in London in 2023, destroyed them in 2024.

Allen remembers how he played in Houston last year and I expect him to have a little extra motivation as a result. Houston's defense is still insanely good and TNF games are weird to begin with so I'm not expecting a fireworks show from start to finish but he'll make some plays.

The Texans offense is exactly the type of offense McDermott tends to do well against. Backup QB, no run game, one WR to worry about. I expect this to be one of those games where Houston has a good drive early and we all start feeling frustrated, and then for the final 50 minutes or so their offense looks totally hapless and we end up with like 3 turnovers.

So I'm predicting a slow constricting victory where Allen keeps making enough plays to put us on the scoreboard while Houston's offense slowly falls apart.

Allen has never played well in Houston, losing there three (?) times. I think the Bills lost there in 2018, 2020 (playoff game) and 2024. Also I read on here or Twitter or somewhere that the Bills haven't won there since 2006.

All's I'm hoping for is a win in 2025.

However, this place is house of horrors for the Bills and this year will be no different. Too many turnovers, Josh never getting comfortable, and Jimbo not quite getting the run game going. Add in Woody Marks getting his first 100 game against the Bills poor run defense and it's gonna be another frustrating loss for us.

Texans season is on the line. Very tough defense. Short week... But bills offense is too versatile

Bills win with a fg 23-20

The last time I can honestly remember a bills QB playing great in Houston is the 89 ot game for Kelly

No faith in this offense or defense. COULD Allen go off? Sure, anything is possible. But he could also have a Miami level stinker. Could the defense smother a garbage Texans offense? No, there's zero chance of that happening, they're awful.

Don't think Alan & company can score fast enough to keep up with the Bill's porous defense (missing key players) on a short week on the road.
